I set up my current checking account, so that I can add my teen son to the account and he could do the mobile check deposits from his work. His boss doesn't offer direct deposit so this team to be an easy solution. Far from it! By the time we could finally use mobile check deposit we tried to deposit his check and the next day it said the check was rejected. I chatted with customer service and ask them why and they said the check was altered. It was my son's paycheck! And it was not altered in any way! I ask them how it was altered and they told me that they could not disclose that information to me! Are you kidding me! So now I have a check that is marked on the back of a mobile check deposit and have no way to cash it and they won't even tell me how they believe the check is altered! I closed my account today and won't look back! Word of warning don't try it!
