I have been a customer of banggood.com site for few years and i have noticed that their customer service, selection of their items and in some case the quality of their products have decreased since less than a year ago. I ordered an electronic device and not only they sent me the wrong item but also it was a faulty one. I contacted the customer service, and sent them photos and they asked for a video clip. I went through the pain staking process of a demonstrating the problem in a video clip & uploading it for them. Yet they were not satisfied and were kicking the can down the road. After over 8 days of sending e. Mail back & forth, they asked me to send the item back to them but they said that i had to pay for the costs ( for sending the wrong and faulty item). I understand and completely agree with one of the earlier reviewers who had the same experience as myself. They said that they would pay 50% of the shipping cost if the cost is between $15 to$40. I was really annoyed because the item went to through the customs when it arrived, the packaging was very poor, they sent the wrong item ( maybe deliberately) and it was also faulty and i lost so much time. All the business that i had done with them in the past obviously meant nothing to them. After sending the item back i decided to stay away from them and take my business somewhere else.At least when customers buy an item on e. Bay, some sellers offer to refund the customers fully if the item is defective, or they ask them to send the item back and the sellers cover the return shipping costs in many cases. I bought some items on e. Bay from China and in few cases the items were not as described, and they asked me to ship the item back and they also refunded me for the shipping cost. If banggood.com wants to stay in business for long then they should change their attitudes and get their acts together. By the way they did not publish my honest review about the item on their website because it would be embarrassing or too bad for their business.

Firstly of all, please accept our sincerely apology for all those inconvenience we caused. All of our products were checked strictly before shipping, the damage might be caused due to the long time delivery. About the faulty item, if the products malfunctions (except for reasons caused by incorrect usage and accidental or intentional damage) within 90 days after shipment (The order shipment date and order notification are provided to you by email) the customer may mail the products back to us. Once we receive and approve the return a Full refund or replacement will be offered and a shipping cost reimbursement will be issued when you provide us a receipt of the shipping chargers you paid to send it back to us. (available tracking number or a screen shot of shipping receipt).

Anyway, we have no excuse to find any reason to shrink the responsibility of solving problem. Could you please tell us your order number, we will confirm the truth again to see if there is any unreasonable solution there.We promise that we will give you a reasonable solution. Thanks for your kindly understanding.

I ordered a smartphone ( UMI) with this company almost 2 months ago. A few hours after placing the order and doing some search about the site's reputation online i got worried and i emailed them and asked if they could cancel the order or change it. They said straightaway 'No' as the item was prepared to be dispatched!? The item wasn't shipped till few days later and it took ages to arrive. I had to pay Handling fees to post and VAT charges ( an extra $30) to get the item. The smartphone was faulty and the fingerprint ID was not working. I e. Mailed them and explained the situation. They asked me to make a video & demonstrate the problem which i did. Then they offered $20 which was less than the VAT i paid on the item. I opened a case with the paypal and i had to return the item with a registered post costing around €10 in order to get the refund for the original price which i paid for the defective phone. I lost money ( return cost+ VAT for imported goods+ handling fees) and time as well. They are crooks and have a terrible customer service. AVOID Antelife if you value your money and time.
