I had heard of this company and remember in the past it had a good reputation. Not so anymore. I decided to purchase an Adrianna Papell dress. However, a few minutes after placing my order I felt uneasy and wish I had read all the horrible reviews posted on Sitejabber first, then I would never have gotten entangled with battling this 'company' in the first place. In the first place, there is NO customer service number to call when I decided to cancel my order ten minutes later. There are 'chat' assistants who keep repeating the same information: my order could not be cancelled because it had already been shipped. Really in ten minutes? That is illogical and impossible. I ended that chat and began another chat, explaining I wished to cancel my order but instead was given the same story that my order had already been shipped. I asked for a tracking number. I was provided with a tracking number which not surprisingly is a fake one because the item is listed as "tracking information will be updated as soon as item ships." That was ten days ago. There is no hope of a return because their return policy is such that the shipping PLUS the restocking fee is almost the price I paid for the dress. I lost $23.00 on this outrageous, dishonest 'company'. I realize $23.00 is not a huge sum of money, yet it is infuriating to be have my money stolen.

Tip for consumers:
Impressively horrible customer service which will not do anything but cause hours of frustration resulting in no resolution a) Cannot cancel an item purchased in error b) Fake tracking number provided c) Never received item d) Took my money and ran off with it.

This 'company's' website shows elegant women's and men's clothing at incredible bargain prices. They are supposedly based in Hong Kong. It is a total scam. I placed an order and then realized is was a scam thanks to the many reviewers on Sitejabber! They are under investigation for stealing photographs from other legitimate websites. I spoke to a 'representative' who told me he had no record of my order number or email address. That is impossible. I told him I have the order number which was sent to my email address. My son lived and worked on the main island in Hong Kong where all the high rise apartments are, living on the 28th floor of one such high rise and where major businesses were formerly located, many of which relocated to Singapore. He recently fled Hong Kong after the Chinese government takeover in a massive exodus. I asked this 'representative' about certain landmarks on the main Island near where their 'headquarters' in supposedly located in the Wan Chai section and a smaller island where my son also lived, Peng Chau. Hong Kong is made up of over 250 islands, many of which are uninhabited. He knew nothing about any of them. Or that there were ferries to different islands. He started to become very aggressive and hostile when I told him to stop playing games; a definite red flag. I looked up other reviewers' comments that they either never received any merchandise from this imaginary company or after a lengthy wait, received clothing not even remotely resembling what they ordered. Their international hotline number is in Northern Michigan, US. My son is an expert in the field of technology and is a computer analyst. He told me a classic sign of a scammer is they use two English names combined. The 'representative' I spoke with goes by the name of Carl Michael. No surprise there. He speaks with a Chinese accent and cannot write a coherent English sentence, except for the phrase 'Have a nice day!" Anyone can write that. Don't waste your money with this 'company'.

Tip for consumers:
This is a scam operation.

This is a the WORST company imaginable. Over the past ten years, I would order a sweater on sale: total number of purchases, four. On a recent order, my order was cancelled. I called this company and was told I had been "blacklisted." I had never heard that term used in retail and asked the customer service rep to explain. I was told I had been placing multiple orders, waiting until they were dispatched and then reporting the purchases as fraud to my credit card company. I was outraged and insulted to be accused of "stealing" Why would I do such a thing? I then asked if that were the case then they would have a record of these so-called orders. I was told they had no record. Then don't accuse me of something I would not even dream of doing. I thanked the rep saying, "I am glad I am 'blacklisted' because if that is how you treat customers I would not want to purchase anything anyway." For the next several months, this company kept sending me catalogs with 'BLACKLISTED' in large bold letters printed on the cover. It took several calls to politely ask them to stop sending catalogs. It was outrageous. Besides which the quality of their merchandise is so poor. A sweater I purchased a year ago with minimal use completely disitegrated. I had to toss it out. Don't waste your money or time with these people.

I purchased a new/used car off a leasing line with only 16,000 miles on it. Since I live in a very small town, I hardly drive it and put very miles on it. I walk places instead. However, I took a trip up into the mountains to stay at an Historic Inn. The car hydroplaned at 15 mph on wet pavement and smashed into a metal railing resulting in over $11,000 of repairs. If the railing had not been there, both myself and my service dog would have been killed, tumbling down the mountainside. The insurance appraiser was horrified to discover that the vehicle was sold to me WITHOUT TREADS ON THE TIRES! The auto body shop repair man (who has been in business for over 50 years) could not believe I would be sold a car in that condition. He told me he had another client bring in three cars from this same dealership to be inspected. Once he got them up on a lift he could tell all three cars had been in major accidents and told this client not to purchase them. I wish I had thought to have him check out my car. After it was repaired a month later, the car stalled out in the middle of a highway leaving me and my dog dangerously stranded. Two weeks after that, I received a recall notice from Toyota that there was a major defect in the fuel pump system which would cause the car to stall out unexpectedly. When I called this dealership's service department I was rudely dismissed and told I could never have my car serviced there again. When I asked why, I was told it was a "management decision" Then I asked to speak with the manager. He screamed and shouted at me over the phone accusing me of harassing employees (?) and that if I "dared to show up on the premises, he would have the police there" and then slammed down the phone receiver. I have never been so outraged in my life. I have had a clean driving record for 45 years and now as a result, my insurance rates skyrocketed by 300%. I wrote a negative review on their website and they posted nasty malicious comments about me on the internet and that I had "falsely blamed them". Do not be deceived by their slick showroom and obsequious salesmen. These people are downright crooks. I noticed that on their website they listed all the five star reviews first, but after you kept scrolling through the pages you will find one star reviews written by enraged customers who had similar experiences to mine. If you value your life, your family or your pets, take your business elsewhere, otherwise you may very well end up dead.

There are many honest sellers on Etsy, but you must most vigilant for scammers. I was badly scammed by one seller advertising "handmade plush rabbit toys, made in England" which could be "personalized with the baby's name on it." The item arrive within 12 hours. It was a completely flattened white 'thing' not even remotely resembling a bunny with a large tag on it "MADE IN CHINA". I sent a message to the seller and asked for a complete refund. The seller refused, claiming, the 'item' "met their standards and criteria". I wrote back, "Well, it certainly does not meet mine. Why would I receive a completely flattened toy bunny?" Their response was that I "should expect to receive a flattened bunny due to the air pressure in the aircraft." I wrote them, "I have traveled all over the world with my animals and we always arrive in three dimensions." I asked this 'seller' how it was possible for a package arriving from the UK to land on my doorstep 12 hours later. The response was that they "had a special on-line customs service which enabled them to override US customs." Sorry, there is no such thing. The "personalization" writing was illegible and despite their claims that the special "sublimation imprinting process was indelible" the cheap fabric marker color rubbed right off in my hand. My son, a computer analyst told me the classic sign of a scammer is that they use two English names combined. This 'shop' on Etsy is called "AmyLucy" designs and features a photo of a super model blonde woman. I posted a negative review and it was removed within a half hour and they closed their 'shop' for a week. I should have examined the site closer. All 50 pages of reviews are five stars with no comments. It is not statistically possible to have 50 pages of all five star reviews. Apparently 23 people had this item in their cars. More likely virtual people. I contacted Etsy and was forced to listen to the most inane, idiotic 'music' for an hour before speaking with a non-virtual customer service representative who assured me my $50 would be refunded, It never was. I gave this 'thing' to my dog. She took one sniff at it, and walked away in disgust. It went straight into the trash.

Tip for consumers:
Just be careful what sellers on Etsy you deal with. It is best to start off with asking some general questions before you purchase anything and see how the seller responds and actually provides you with an intelligent answer which makes sense. Otherwise, who knows what you will end up with?
