I did a google search looking for an available hotel room for one night. Google redirected me to hotels.com. I didn't realize until I saw my credit card statement that this website was in US dollars which made this hotel far more expensive than all the others that showed up on my google search.
I called to cancel once I found out and they told me 'no refunds.' I explained that their site was misleading as it should state that it's not in Canadian dollars when being redirected from a Canadian google search to a Canadian hotel. They told me that was my fault for not knowing it was in US dollars.
After arguing for a while, they said the only way they would refund my money is if I could get the hotel owner to agree to cancel. I called her, she agreed. I called hotels.com to tell them and they agreed to give me my refund.
After a number of weeks, I didn't receive my refund so I called hotels.com again and they said I was lying about the hotel owner agreeing to cancel. They said I'd have to get a written letter from the owner in order to get a refund. They never mentioned that the first time.
After being transferred to different associates over and over, I finally told one of the associates to call her himself and confirm. They finally did and FINALLY agreed to give me my money back. This entire back & forth ordeal with them went on for about 3 weeks before I could get them to refund me.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY.

I've never had a more horrendous customer experience. After needing to cancel a reservation, reservations.com claimed that they "can't" give refunds. Going back and forth with them for a while, they said they would call the hotel manager to see if she would approve the cancellation. She said no at first. Reservations.com said if I wanted to try calling her myself I could... so I did. The hotel manager agreed to the cancellation. 5 days later, there was no refund from reservations.com so I called them to inquire. They said they only had record of the hotel manager refusing to cancel. I told them that I spoke to her myself (as they suggested I do) and she had agreed. They basically said I was a liar and still refused to refund me. They told me if I gave them the hotel manager's name, I could submit a refund request. So I called the hotel manager... she said she had, in fact, refunded the money to reservations.com and couldn't believe they were giving me such a hard time. I called reservations.com back and gave them the hotel managers name and they then claimed I needed a written letter from the hotel manager! They never said anything about this before and simply stated I'd only need a name. They refused to speak to her directly and said they "weren't allowed" to contact the hotel manager even though they had previously. Their stories and requests kept changing and it was quite clear that this company simply does not want to give me my money back. After demanding to speak to a supervisor who gave me the same spiel the other employees did, I told them I was not going to let this go and that they needed to speak to the hotel manager directly. They finally did and she confirmed the cancellation.
I have never been treated so poorly or required to jump through so many hoops to receive a refund. This company is absolutely terrible. Don't EVER book with them.
Oh also... Their website is in US currency (not CAD) and it doesn't state that anywhere until you pay.

If I could give them a lower rating I would. Ordered a lace "dress" from their site. Figured it may fit a bit on the small size so I ordered a medium. Their size medium is the equivalent of a children's extra small. I'm quite petite and only about 5' 2 and this dress was so tight and also only covered about half of my behind. It's about the length of a long t-shirt.
When I complained about the fit and size of the dress they said they didn't believe me unless I took photos. So I had to take embarrassing photos of a dress not covering my behind. After I sent them the photos they said the dress looked beautiful and that it was my fault for ordering the wrong size. I'm sorry but a dress that does not cover my backside is not a beautiful dress. I can't wear it anywhere.
They refuse to refund my money and refuse to take responsibility for their low quality product. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!
