There are undisclosed transaction fees when you buy bids online...I don't take issue with the fact that the site makes money or that the site charges a transaction fee, but rather with the DISHONESTY of slipping in the transaction fees without advising you of their existence anywhere before you bid. There is no reference to this fee anywhere when you search the site or when you listen to/read about 'how it works' or how you pay or how you bid or how you buy bids. It is only referenced in a section called 'common mistakes beginners make, and that's after someone asked a question and the company posted a reply. This information should be disclosed without having to search for it, since it is their standard operating procedure when auctioning off bids.

Here's my interaction with them:
FROM ME to THEM:, May 27 08:03 am (CDT):
I've been charged a transaction fee, and I saw no mention of it in the terms and conditions, FAQ or anywhere else...I used your search function to find it, searching for fee, fees, transaction fee, payment and you've got NO info on it at all in any place a reasonable person would expect to find it. You have info about the cost of bids and shipping, nothing about a $2.00 transaction fee. The only place I found it was in "The 3 Biggest Mistakes Beginners Make",after the fact. The transaction fee should have been stated much more clearly and it seems SNEAKY to me that quibids just slips it in without any prior notification. People shouldn't have to do a search for what is basic fee information - standard fees - and then not be able to find it when they DO search for it. SHADY!!! It's not a lot of money, but I am one unhappy newbie, on principle. You need to make the transaction fee part of the basic information that is easily accessible to everyone without having to look through so much information."
I then copied and pasted some of the relevant information I had read through before bidding which is too lengthy to put in this review

Hi,
The $2 fee for voucher bids is a transaction fee which helps to cover the cost of system processing. This fee will always be shown under the Payment Information of every Voucher Bid auction.Thank you so much for your participation and happy bidding!
Sincerely,
Erik

Looks like they missed the point, or are conveniently ignoring it. I'm not a happy customer - I think they may have great deals, but I can't do business with someone who has taken advantage of me, even in a small way. They've left me feeling disappointed and disrespected. They did not reply to my next email stating that they missed my point and felt they were dishonest. My next issue with them is as follows:

May 27 11:42 am (CDT):
Can you tell me where does your listed value price of the 16bg ipad come from? I can't seem to find any retailers selling for $ 730.

Hi ,
Due to supply and demand we have had to place a markup on the Ipad. Since these have just been released, they have been in extremely high demand, and have been very hard to obtain. In fact, for private customers Apple has placed a one per customer limit on these items. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Josh

I doubt I will get a reply to my response to this, which was So, in other words, you list the "value price", (about which you state: "The value price is listed as an indication of the market value of the product")

as 1.46 times the ACTUAL market value of the ipad. You guys are really DISHONEST. Don't you agree?

I think it is a ridiculous.. Any type of online bidding situation I've encountered has a finite end to it. Upon using my free bid, I immediately realized that your bid adds time to the "auction", so it can go on forever. Don't waste your time.
