I had an agent call me about using Home Advisors to get leads for my business. His technique of persuading my interests was perfectly formatted to string me along, as it sounds so perfect and what I need, that I am totally sold on it. Then he drops the extra charges of a website which he says is mandatory in order to use the service, which ends up costing even more money. By this time, the opportunity sounds so good that even though I am feeling like an idiot for letting him play with my emotions and slap me with that part at the end, that it's just too perfect and worth paying the extra for all the extras anyways. Even though I seen what was happening through his manipulation, I was still willing to give it a try.
He told me he would follow up with an email with all the information he just discussed with me, after the call and would follow up with me a week later.
I did not receive any email at all until a week later when he told me he would follow up with me. I told him in reply that I was disappointed that he never sent the info that he promised he would send after the phone call and that because of that I will not be using their service. If they can't follow through and be responsible, how can I trust them?
His reply was that he sent the email and other bull$#*!. This was not true. The email was never sent. I looked everywhere for an email from them and there was not any, except for his follow up reply.
These people are scammers. They are not to be trusted. After reading the other reviews from people who have dealt with their services, and checking out their prices from the perspective of being the person on the other end who is paying to hire potential companies from their site at their fixed price, this is nothing I want to have anything to do with for sure.
It's obvious before you get into it to stay far away from it, whatever angle you choose ( not) to participate in concerning their service.
How do people like this end up taking up our television watching time with commercials? They should be banned.
