I wanted to take a moment to provide some feedback on their subscription services, focusing on the website and digital access.

I have been a subscriber to Bon Appétit for some time now and have thoroughly enjoyed the content and the efforts they've made to diversify your offerings. However, I've encountered some frustrating issues with their subscription service and website.

Firstly, the website has been a bit challenging for me. Whenever I try to sign in, it often kicks me out, making it a less than ideal experience. What's more, I've received numerous emails and ads from Bon Appétit, which is somewhat puzzling when the digital access has been a challenge for me.

I've attempted to link my print subscription to digital access, but it seems that nothing I do works seamlessly. While I did reach out to their staff for assistance, the process seemed somewhat convoluted. I received an email from one staff member and was then transferred to another, but I haven't heard back since then.

I want to reiterate that I genuinely appreciate the improvements they've made and the steps taken to enhance diversity in your content. It's a positive direction, and it's one of the reasons I've been a subscriber. However, the frustrations I've encountered with the subscription and website experience may lead me to cancel my subscription once it reaches its term.

I hope my feedback can help in making their subscription services more user-friendly and efficient. I value the content they provide and would love for the overall experience to match its quality.

I returned an item and failed to put my return slip in there, but used the UPS slip. Because I can't find my UPS slip they are refusing to give me credit. When the item was received they should be able to tell who the customer is by the UPS slip. When I inquired via email thinking it would be simple they customer service reps were clueless and didn't even try to help.

Tip for consumers:
If you return make sure you keep the receipt from UPS

This many people can't be wrong and I'm here to verify that magazine.com is a horrible company. They don't want you to sign in because it'll be easier to cancel or to not do the auto renewal. I searched for a way to subscribe to one of my magazines and found you can do it on Amazon and for the first year it was only $5.75 if I did auto renew, which I don't mind because I know I can easily go in and change with them. If Amazon doesn't allow for whatever magazine you look for go anywhere else.
I would give Magazine.com a negative or 0 rating if possible.

Tip for consumers:
use someone, anyone, else to subscribe to your favorite magazines.

Depending on the city they will advertise as Hometown Equity Mortgage or TheLender.com. The process to get to closing was brutal. It took us 2 1/2 months to close. They kept using the excuse that there were a lot of applications and they were "super busy," but most mortgage companies are and they are closing in 30 days or less. We were refinancing a loan that had two houses on it, but that bank only caused a 4 day delay. They kept losing documents and then kept asking us to send more documents that didn't make sense to the transaction. We were scheduled to close on 3 different occasions and something would come up on their end and they'd cancel last minute. On the day we finally closed they didn't have the loan documents there until 2 hours later. We thought we were done. No, we received an email at the end of the day stating that they wanted us to bring a different check for the same amount from a different checking account. We worked with a broker and when we tried to call TheLender.com directly they never responded and asked the broker to call us and that wouldn't speak with us about the delays. All in all not a good experience, but on the otherhand we did get 2.78% on two investment properties.

I was excited when I saw that they had 18x24 yard signs for as low as $2.12, however, that is the starting price. We had our own design and it only had 1 color. The boards are white so that shouldn't count as a color. However, they counted the white as a color and then said it was a full color design. Usually places charge, 1, 2, 3 then full color. This tripled the price we decided to use another company.

Tip for consumers:
Shop around if you have your own design. If you just want a generic cheap looking sign this is the place.

We didn't order because of deceptive practices by this company.
