I have lost about $2000 on Guru.com. I have had freelancers lie and cheat, and misrepresent themselves. I paid for a website from a company that had a sterling 5-rating (which was lie aided and abetted by Guru.com) and they took my money and delivered nothing. I argued once again that this was both misrepresentation and fraud and that Guru.com should give my money and indefinitely suspend their account until things are rectified. I have contacted BBB and Guru.com has an F-rating (no surprise there) and I sent a letter to the Attorney General's Office. Has anyone sued these guys? Class action lawsuit all the way.
