Let me start by saying I am typically not one to write a review on anything unless it is absolutely amazing but this will probably be my first or second of service that has been far from perfect. My order was placed 15 days ago with an email stating that the order and payment were successfully processed sent to me. Shipping was stated to be delayed by 3-5 days which was ok if it was actually 3 to 5 days. It was finally determined that it would be almost twice that time before shipping so I requested to pay more to have a product shipped that was also in stock and would ship within 24 hours. I do give it to them that they were nice enough to price match the item due to their pricing is about $12 higher for the item. The problem is that I waited for about 5 days for that one to ship and it sat being processed, as did my other. When contacting customer support, who was nice (via chat), they helped me to change to a product that was in stock and then later informed me the reason it wasn't shipped is that accounting had to cancel it and then submit the new order. In 3 days that didn't happen and I said just send the original order out. Of course, later on, that evening was when it was finally canceled... at midnight. So now they had to resubmit the original order again which there has still been no confirmation of that, except through chat, as I wait for parts for an install that was to happen 10 days ago. The more I tell the story the more frustrating it gets. It would be ok if they just said that it would take 2 weeks for the parts to be shipped or even 3 weeks so a customer could have the proper expectations but this was beyond acceptable. One hand has no idea what the other is doing. I have heard some great things about CARID being the amazon of car parts but I would have to say the shipping and product handling is much better at Amazon. I really wish my first experience with these guys had been better but if I ever receive my product I do wonder if I will ever use them again. Everyone deserves a second chance but CARID is quickly burning that bridge with me.

UPDATE: AFTER KEEPING ME ON THE HOOK FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS AND CHARGING MY CARD FOR THE PRODUCT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE PRODUCT AND HAVE NOW CHECKED THE SITE FOR AN UPDATE POSTED TODAY. EXPECTED SHIP DATE... 1 MONTH FROM NOW. NEVER AGAIN! I HAVE CHANGED MY RATING TO 1 STAR AND THE CANNED CARID RESPONSES ARE USELESS. 'HELP TO RESOLVE YOUR ISSUE'. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY... EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT A COUPLE OF EXTRA DAYS.

I paid $285 for hood delivery and I was promised to receive it in up to 4 days. It took them 10...
