We made an online purchase from Claires.com. Before ordering we checked the refund/return policy and it states that items may be returned to local Claire's store or return can be mailed back. The item did not work out and we attempted to return it to the local Owensboro KY store at Towne Square Mall and the manager refused to accept the return because "they did not carry the item there". Nowhere on the receipt does it state a return is limited to items the store stocks. This should be a process that the stores and the. Com work out - not leaving me with the only option to mail back at my expense.
When I contacted Claire's customer support I never received a reply. I had simply asked that they send me a prepaid return label since I had already made a trip to the local store and the stated return policy was not honored.
Never will I shop at Claire's online or a Claire's store again!

Tip for consumers:
Don't shop Claire's if you value customer support.
