I ordered 2 Hermes platters in October, 2020 as a wedding gift for my nephew. The items showed that they were in stock but could possibly take a few weeks to ship. By the end of December I checked with the company to find out when they would be shipped. I was told they were back ordered but was promised I would be called back by the next day for an update. I never heard from them either by phone or email. I called 1 week later and insisted on talking with the customer service manager. I explained to her the situation and she said she would look into it and get in touch with me by the next day. Again, I heard nothing. I had to call every 4 weeks but was always told they would look in to it and get in touch with me the next day. No one ever called or emailed me with any updates on the order but their website still listed the platters for sale and in stock. I finally called in the begining of May 2021 and demanded that they cancel my order and issue a refund. I would never do business with a company that has so little regard for custom service and no communication with their buyers. Do not let their great prices fool you in to thinking you will receive the items. I finally went directly to the Hermes website and received the platters within 2 1/2 weeks. It was worth paying a little more for great service guaranteed delivery.
