Famous footwear is holding my refund hostage AND tried to adjust the price of the item AFTER the return reducing the ammount to be refunded. They even tried to tell me they keep the sales tax. It's been 15 days since they received my returned item which I sent back immediately because it didn't meet my expectations. I'll update this review when I receive my refund, but I doubt I will shop online with Famous footwear... if the refund is complete and correct I might still shop brick and mortar... it's not looking good though so as of now no way do I recommend Famous footwear

I am never disappointed in this site. They clearly list prices and final sale items. They offer both high end and reasonably priced items. Shipping is always fast and I know exactly what I'm getting. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Alphalete Athletics has a hidden clause. It's final sale items are not clearly marked individually like on most sites, you have to figure it out. Any item on sale for 30% or more is considered final sale. If you don't read their return policy and do the math you're not getting your money back. Considering the price markup is probably about 60% more than it's worth to begin with I'd stick to more reputable high end athletic wear. Thankfully the garbage I'm stuck with was relatively inexpensive because it was on sale. Stay away... the stuff is mediocre at best AND the dishonest way they hide final sale where maybe 50% of customers are going to see it is really REALLY low brow.
Edit* They reached out and offered to accept my return request. It's still on its way. When they issue my full refund I will update. They issued my full refund but made me wait a full 10 days after receiving returns.
