Greedy greedy greedy little $#*!es. To give anyone who doesn't understand some context, over half a million kids signed up to take the AP Lang exam. Say only 98% of students had no computer or wifi difficulties, or had no trouble submitting it. That last 2% is still TEN THOUDAND PEOPLE you $#*!ed over. It is not fair that the tens of thousands of students, probably more, need to spend the next few weeks of their summer stressing out to take a re-take because you guys failed to realize that computers crash, wifi cuts out, and many Americans can't even affort a device to take the exams on. If if they cancel the exams, what College Board is afraid will happen is that the students still get into college and we realize that the College Board is USELESS. Here's a thought: how about we administer the exams at our school in our classrooms? How about our teachers design the tests? The College Board a multi-million dollar business making millions off of our suffereing. They're afriad to lose their company so they administer the exams to kids when they know damn well the kids won't do well on it. Newsflash: We've been learning online since March. It's not the same and this shortened exam doesn't make is any easier. Making us write a DBQ in 45 minutes, cutting the time in half while only removing 2 of the 7 documents? How is that fair? How is it fair to base everything a kid has learned in the past year on one single question? What if a kid excels in multiple choice but struggles with writing? Are they just screwed? The exams were shortened but we are still paying the full price, which is absolute bull$#*!. If you cut the exam time, CUT THE PRICE. Families are losing their jobs and their money but this stupid company still makes us pay full price. Keep in mind, I am very lucky to have parents who are willing to pay for this, and I am grateful in that sense. I am not talking about myself here. I'm referring to the thousands of students who don't have the same privedge. My point of view is a frustrated junior in high school that has to retake both of her AP Exams in June because she followed the directions and yet the College Board website still failed her. My purpose is to encourage people to not take College Board's bull$#*! anymore. My audience is, hopefully, the College Board. Boom. Context, audience, purpose, and point of view. 5 on the exam. College Board, $#*! you guys.
