I purchased a penny board on August 23rd and received men's boardshorts about a week later. I'm a woman so I have no need for these large men's shorts and I wanted my skateboard so I called customer service. I was told to email customer service and I did so. I received an email back a few days later saying to call customer service. ARE YOU KIDDING?! I call customer service and the lady emails me a return shipping label to tape onto the package and send the boardshorts back. I do so and called tillys customer service a few days later to find out why my board hasn't been shipped out. I was told that there needed to be movement on the return item from the tracking website before my board can be shipped. Why? I don't control USPS/FedEx and it seems stupid to make a customer wait even longer just because someone at your store/factory made a mistake.. I was also told that I will receive expedited shipping when my board does leave the warehouse. Well about a week goes by and the boardshorts finally made it to California so I call and I was put on hold for over 30 minutes (you'll be stuck waiting to speak to someone/get put on hold every time you call customer service!!). I was told that my beautiful penny board is now out of stock and I will be receiving a full refund in 3-4 business days. It's Friday so I won't be getting that money soon enough I have to wait even longer to get a damn board from this $#*! company! Honestly just avoid buying items online and get them from the store instead. I've learned my lesson x.x so much time wasted waiting for an item and then still not receive it in the end. I'll just go to the store and get one ugh lol.
Stay away from this site. I made an order last week that was over $50 and everything was fine until the next day I get a payment failed email. This was really strange to see because my money is perfectly good and I used the same credit card to buy clothes from other websites earlier that same day. So, I contact sheinside and in broken English a woman tells me not to worry and that the bank is just checking the money. I spoke with another person from sheinside and they told me that the bank has probably rejected the money. Sure enough, after a couple days I see on my bank activity that the transaction was canceled. I'm still not sure why this happened, what is wrong with my money? Nothing. So this shouldn't have happened in the first place. I contact sheinside AGAIN and I was then told to use Paypal instead. Since I really wanted these clothes I went ahead and made a new order but this time paid with my Paypal account and chose only one shirt instead of $50 worth of clothes like before. The money went through and I was waiting to hear about the status of my order. Then, a day or two later I get an email from sheinside saying that the shirt I really wanted is sold out. Then why didn't they write that it was sold out in the first place so that I would've been able to avoid this disaster? Instead, I was told AFTER I paid.. Coincidence? I replied back to them stating I want a refund immediately and I have yet to hear back.. I want my money back now! I don't want to wait on these slow people! It seriously takes them a long time to respond to any email you send them. I hope to get my money back soon, what a complete waste of my time. Trying to get clothes from sheinside has been a nightmare and I suggest that everyone avoids this website like the plague. What a shame. Plus, their coupon codes don't even work so I was unable to save money on my first purchase like they claimed.
