I find nothing about this service to be intuitive. Even clicking on links within their own program brings you to an endless cycle of no good answer. Today was the icing on the cake. I received an email from *******@dropboxmail.com that said, "You recently deleted 3104 files from your Dropbox account. If you want these files back, you can still restore them until 2022-08-25. After that, they'll be permanently deleted." Panic stricken, I looked to see what files were deleted. NONE. I contacted support and after about an hour, the person helping me, and he was helpful, said that I changed the name of a folder from HOUSE to HOUSES and Dropbox understood that to be a deletion of files. There is just no excuse for Dropbox to send an email telling me I deleted over 3,000 files just because I made a folder name plural! Insane! I'll be looking for a more user friendly - and sensible - cloud service.

3/3/15

I have made three purchases at Walmart.com and have been 100% dissatisfied with the quality of what I received, with the return process (two of the three items) and the complete lack of customer service. Even the emails I received from the customer service department were unintelligible. Not only did they not relate to the issue at hand, but the English grammar was below the level of a second grader. Walmart is not known for quality, in fact, they are the epitome of "you get what you pay for", but the quality of their online items seems to be below that of their in-store items.

I love, love, love Amazon. Their prices aren't always the lowest, but there's more to buying than price. For me, good service is worth some extra money and in my experience, few companies out there match the service provided by Amazon. Easy to use, easy to resolve issues and they actually care. Amazon is my first stop for shopping online and they are typically my only stop.

That they do not provide credit reports online is ridiculous! If they don't have a secure site that allows such secure transactions, then they should not take my social security number and other sensitive information online. Every other credit report service provides online reports. They are operating as if it's the 1970s! Additionally, the information they require to send copies of in order to obtain your credit report by mail is not something everyone has. For instance, I am self-employed. I do not have pay stubs or a W2. Ridiculous requirements. Finally, the United States Postal Service outsources most of its processes. I do not use the USPS because of this, to say nothing of mail fraud and mail theft. There is no way I would send a copy of my SSN through the USPS.

They need to re-evaluate their antiquated requirements. Until they do, I use a company that knows how to protect my information online.
