I decided that I wanted to find a website that will allow me to review books and get paid for it. That kind of thing is right up my ally and it is something I could do while I'm in school. So I came upon oncewritten. A+ for the name, but F- for the website. You only get paid $5 for each review which adds up if you are a fast reader. That isn't the problem. The problem is you can't leave a negative review of the book. So if you read a book and you just don't like how its written either you lie about the book or you can't review it. Seems pretty pointless seeing as how authors can't grow if they aren't given any constructive criticism.
I purchased a game from them, and at first it was just fine. I played through it and such. Well then I started playing it at random whenever I was bored. Well now you get to a point in the game and it freezes and says that it isn't responding. So then you try again and its the same thing. Well then you end up having to restart your game. I had contacted them about a refund since it was doing that. All they did was tell me one way to fix it and if that didn't work than there could be a game trade. That's not what I wanted; if one of their games does this than most of them probably will as well. I would steer clear of them.
When you do a google search for FREE resumes this site pops up saying free resume builder. It is free to build your resume, but you can't use it unless you are willing to pay. It is a false advertisement since you spend about 10 to 15 minutes picking out the perfect template and filling it out only for the site to be like "oh I'm sorry but we are here to rip you off"
I had signed up for Chegg as a tutor. I know I had been accepted, but due to moving and unpacking I didn't have the time to go on there to help anyone. I log on today and I sign in and it says "We are sorry to inform you that your tutor application is not approved. We have to meet the educational demands of our student base, and after reviewing your application, it's not the right fit for us at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply for the position, and will notify you should we change our policies on reapplication. At this time, you are not permitted to reapply."
How can I go from being accepted to not being accepted and not able to reapply? After looking at all the people who got ripped off from this site; I'm GLAD they "rejected" my application..
