I made a mistake in booking travel dates. I needed to book the room for one day longer. The agent I talked to at getaroom was sympathetic but very constrained in the possible resolution of this problem. He couldn't simple add a day to the existing booking because getaroom doesn't allow changes to existing bookings. I suggested canceling & doing a new booking. If you cancel at getaroom you get charged anyway. So I made a new booking of one day & got charged for my mistake. The agent was great but I will be making a point of avoiding getaroom in the future.
