When Nasty Gal opened, I was a regular customer. I enjoyed their cutting edge clothing, great service and good quality. Unfortunately they now think that making everything with the word "$#*!" on it makes it somehow classy. To promote clothing that is offensive and disrespectful to both the wearer and the person seeing it makes no sense.
I was recently at a restaurant with my husband. The person in front of us was wearing a shirt that said "$#*! you" in big bold letters. This was a family restaurant. My husband mentioned it to the manager who asked the person to either turn the shirt inside out, get another shirt or leave. As you can imagine from somebody that would think it is o. K. to even wear that shirt, he put put up quite a squawk and threatened my husband. He was waiting outside for us as we left the restaurant and got in my husbands face. Bad mistake!. My husband is a pretty mild mannered guy but was pushed too far. He picked the guy up, put him in the dumpster and latched the lid! (Then the police arrived and arrested the guy for disorderly conduct... AFTER they got a good laugh out of it!) Unfortunately, that's where a lot of the Nasty Gal clothing also belongs!
