The only reason Care Credit exists is because people are desperate for medical, dental, or veteranarian help. Most of these places require payment in full at the time of service. Many of us are desperate to get help and will do almost anything to get the help needed and that's where they come in.
If you don't use it regularly or keep a balance you will have to reapply before you are issued a new account #. Personally had 3.
If you need to reach an operator on the automated system, don't respond to the cues. Otherwise you can't reach the operator for a long time. You must go all the way to the end of all the prompts before you you will have the option for an agent, and it's very annoying. It also can't understand high pitched voices.
When you finally reach an operator/agent they all seem quite helpful and friendly but as I said it takes a long time.
Ask the service you are seeking if there is any other payment option available before signing up. If you must set an account up make sure it's autopay because you will pay dearly for any missed payment.
