I had qualified for the "Guarantee" but they charged me anyway for the new subscription. Aside from the service being absolutely $#*! I was erroneously charged. When I called for a refund they told me several times that even with the exchange (I'm Cdn) I would get the FULL amount back. Of course I didn't. When I called to request the full amount since I never should have been charged in the first place, they told me it was my fault that I didn't turn off the auto-charge and that there's nothing they could do and that no one I spoke to could change that. THEY made the mistake not to monitor their accounts to see who qualifies for free service, THEY charged me when they shouldn't have, and THEY refuse to give me the full amount back. So now I'm out money for a mistake they made and Match can't even stand by their product. If you offer this service outside of the States, such a large company like Match should plan for these international charges situations.
Also, the actual matches are terrible, I've been verbally harassed my several "matches" and no one seems to take it seriously. Match.com is a terrible company and has a pathetic and laughable business ethic.
