I first found Writing.Com when it was still called Stories.Com. I have been a loyal member ever since and have loved it. The people that run the site are amazing, as are the members. There are so many great groups to join and a great deal of support. Whether you're a writer that wants to hone or share your talent or a person who just loves to read (or both!!), Writing.Com is the place to be. There are no pressure free memberships and paid memberships. I've been an upgraded member for years and, even when I'm not actively writing on the site, I still maintain my membership, partly because I love keeping all my things in an online portfolio, but mainly to keep supporting Writing.Com financially so they can continue to be the site for writers and readers alike to spend their time. The website is set up in a lovely format that is easy to navigate. It is easy to gain exposure for your writing. There is also a currency in Writing.Com called gift points, or gps, that members can send to each other as thank you's or kudos, and can use to purchase digital awardicons for pieces that they particularly enjoy. So, in the words of this great website, Write on!

MoviePass

MoviePass

Overall, let's face it, MoviePass is a great deal. You pay $10 a month to see movies in theaters. I signed up in February and I loved it. This was when unlimited really meant unlimited, meaning that I could go see a movie a day, any move (sans 3D or IMAX) in any participating theater, which is what I signed up for. The creators then began asking for photos of movie tickets, which wasn't a horrible inconvenience. However, the weekend Avengers: Infinity War released, without warning, MoviePass rolled out another update and limited all movie viewing to a single viewing. Shady and suspicious, to be sure, but acceptable despite its unfairness. Most voiced their concerns and were ignored. Suddenly, MoviePass started promoting that unlimited movies was back, but it is not. You still can only view each movie once. So, beware of the false advertising they consistently do without any concern for how their customers feel. Another thing to note is that getting through to customer service is next to impossible. When my card was shut off randomly for no reason, I called 4 or 5 times, and kept hearing that there were too many people calling and I had to call back later. Then, when I got through, I was on hold for approximately 30 minutes of the 55 minute phone call to resolve the issue. In addition, any texts you send through the app vanish after you read their response, so you cannot pull up the conversation later. Take screenshots of any conversations you have. So, yes, regardless of the shady dealings going on, one can definitely admit that the value for the money is great. MoviePass would be a great deal better if they actually had a customer service department that was available to help their customers and didn't ignore the suggestions, concerns, and complaints of their customers, and if they stopped their false advertising.

Horrible. I placed the order online and left clear directions. I received an e-mail stating that I would receive my order in 45 minutes at 11:27 a.m. I finally called at 12:45 p.m. to check on the order. I was told that the driver had called my number and was with the security guard and didn't get an answer. I literally sat at my desk for the entire time and never got the call. I asked her where he was and he had LEFT WITH THE PIZZA. She told me that the driver was "turning around" and I informed her that she could just refund me and cancel my order since I'd been waiting an hour and a half already. The driver didn't have the presence of mind or customer service mentality to seek other options. Just chose to leave with something ALREADY PAID FOR and shrug his shoulders like it's no big deal to make someone wait even longer for their food. Nice and no thank you. This was my first experience with Pizza 9. There WILL NOT be a second.
