We, unfortunately, had Spectrum for 2 years when living in Angier, NC. Spectrum has a policy where AFTER you return equipment that you ALSO have to say, "Hey, cancel my reoccurring bill". This is insane. I've returned your equipment, cancel my order AND I have to say, "Don't bill me anymore." This is semantics and shady practices. How are they still in business?
Discover would not refund me based on their policy, despite that I could show that we had returned the equipment and the last charge was AFTER we left the state. I can also provide proof that they raised our rates as we had a recurring charge.
They also lied and said we'd have a lifetime rate but then raised it within the first year. They are deceptive.
