I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan for over 24 years off and on, but use the lobby daily for my meetings. Centrally Located in Bangkok.
Great hotel lobby. First rate staff and hotel. The lobby is perfect for having social and business meetings. The buffet is excellent for all your meals. Great atmosphere for spending the mid afternoons out of the heat of the day.
The lounge downstairs is a great time after 10 pm.
Tip for consumers: The lobby reminds me of the "Cantina Bar" in Star Wars.
You will meet people from all over the world.
First class. Dress appropriately. Better than casual.
Excellent stay. Efficient and first rate hotel staff. I have stayed at this property at least 10 times over the years and find that the staff has been consistent.
The lobby is absolutely beautiful and overwhelming. A great lobby to spend time during the mid day heat.
The hotel restaurant and buffet off the mezzanine is top flight.
I give the property 5 Stars.
Tip for consumers: ask for the Bell Captain Mr. Manop for directions and things to do around town.
Hotels.com charges $430.00 for 1 night stay at Hampton Inns, in The Hamptons, and when we got there, they were only charging $289.00 per night to the other guests.
They happily made the change, but only at the point of the hotel itself, not Hotels.com.
The Hampton Inn said that they had never charged that much for a room, themselves.
