Been doing AirBnB since its inception as a guest. Transitions from conventional hotels to B&Bs a while ago, but now mostly AirBnB satisfies my needs when I stay out of town. Four Years ago my wife and I started hosting. She became ranked as a Super Host and we really enjoyed meeting and interacting with our guests and also the added household income that more than paid for our monthly mortgage payments.

Never really had a bad incident HOSTING and only was disappointed on 2 occasions as a guest (where the room was less than we expected [once it was dirty and once it was way too small]) For anyone wanting a nice stay outside the big-box corporate hotels... this may be for you. For those with extra private space in their homes who want to be Innkeepers for a day... consider hosting.

As a Host, it is a bit difficult contacting CustomerServices by email or phone. In an emergency it becomes quite a chore trying to get ahold of someone to help out in a pinch. They should do better with CS and host access to corporate.

While driving I just tune in when other radio stations (FM) fail. Don't have an account with XM/Sirius so this fills in the gap.

My business runs on subscriptions. Stripe makes it simple and affordable (by comparison with fees) to create an account and manage subscriptions. There are issues with notification and how to capture those subscribers whose CC are outdated or fail to charge. Better notification would make it easy to realize earlier and do so without so much manual labor. Daily notifications on incoming charges posted to my email is nice. Dashboard is nicely set up.

Like the drivers and ease of hailing a ride; also app is pretty good as long as everything is going well. HOWEVER, in Nov and Dec of 2017 my account was hacked and fraudulent rides were clocked in in LONDON and PARIS while I was in the USA. First time it was 4 rides; last time it was 9 rides and it all added up quickly. Two of my CC were used in the process, necessitating my CC Company to shut down one of my main credit cards... what a hassle to deal with all that. Customer Service (once you got it) was great as they did reverse charges (so the only folks out of the money I would assume would be the drivers, unless Uber picked up the Fraud Tab). But Uber did charge me a ''fee'' for reversing charges, so I did not walk away completely un-bruised. I promptly SHUT DOWN my account and will find another Ride-Share service that is more secure.

Uber has got some issues to work out... their CULTURE as recent news reports allude to but also a BETTER way (faster and easier) to alert corporate about big problems with the app and web site and FRAUD, etc. The system as it is now is elusive and painstakingly complex.
