If you want to goto a fun Country music event, stay away from Country On The River in Prairie du Chien WI. If you think tripping on giant stones, large hills, no easy and EXPENSIVE parking is a fun time please by all means goto CotR. Overly priced tickets, rude staff, expensive beer, $10 french fries and as a vendor there, I'd say I would never do it. They charge way too much of a sitting fee and are $#*!s about where we are at, we were so far away at Rock On The River, that country on the river made us lose too much money to even want to go. I can; t imagine how country on the river in council bluffs is going to do if I assume the owners and operators probably live in Wisconsin and not even in council bluffs. (I am unsure though.) Stay away from their over priced tickets and boring musicians. Cotr just flat out blows.
