We hired him to make and install cabinets for our new home. We paid him $34,000 January 2019 and only half of our cabinets have been made and installed after 14 months of broken promises and demands for more money. He still hasn't put any of the doors on either, which caused us to fail our final plumbing inspection (our county requires doors on cabinets under sinks). When we did a surprise inventory inspection of the materials that we purchased and left at his shop in March 2020, we discovered that he had used about $2000 worth of our materials for a different customers job.
I purchased a mattress set and Costco's white-glove delivery from Costco.com on June 23. When the product finally arrived on July 27 it was severely damaged, so I refused it. The delivery people also saw the damage and made a note of it on their paperwork before putting the damaged mattress set back on their truck. On August 3, I received an email from Costco.com saying they would begin the credit process. It is now October 3 and I still have no refund. I have complained several times in the last two months, and each time they reply that it will be 3-5 days before I receive my refund.
