I love to download and play PC games, and a couple years ago I found "Adventure Shop"-- initially I liked the variety of games they offered, the fair prices, and the ease of downloading and installing the games. Subsequently, I purchased quite a few games, amounting to almost $200-- and had a great experience playing them all.

Flash forward to just recently. I purchased a game called "Art Of Murder: Hunt For The Puppeteer. I had an issue with the game freezing up and locking up my PC in the same spot every time-- which is a clear indication that the problem was with the game, and not my PC.

I contacted their "support", thinking that the issue would have been resolved quickly, wither with a new download source or a refund, etc. I received a response from someone calling himself "Marco". The man, who was extremely arrogant and rude from the very start, and would only tell me that the problem was not the game, but in my PC-- he also refused to support the issue any further, other than giving me useless diagnostics to run on my own PC-- not a fix for the game, and he also refused to refund my money-- even though the game was only $10, even after all the money I had spent with the company previously.

The man DID point out that their Terms Of Service state that they aren't responsible for technical problems-- and they DO-- buf any business I've ever dealt with before has always been willing to do what they could to please their customer and keep the business. Not this guy.

I never resolved the issue. They won't replace or refund the game, and I'm stuck with a defective download. I did of course let them know that I wouldn't be giving them anymore business-- but "Marco" persisted and refused to help.

I STRONGLY advise you NOT to patronize this site-- there are PLENTY of other reputable retailers who WILL take care of the customer and make things right.
