In February of 2019 I purchased two records from a seller on Discogs who advertised them as both playing great. Once I got the records I couldn't even get through the first track on side 1 and 2 of one of the records because it had so many skips and jumps. The mistake I made was for the first time in my life I used a credit card for paying opposed to my usual 16 years of using PayPal. ( I believe PayPal would have paid for the return shipping.)

It's been very, very stressful for me since I first let Discogs know of this situation. There's absolutely no backing whatsoever from Discogs and they fully side with the seller. In other words a seller can advertise whatever they want, lie about it and when you, the buyer purchase an item based on what you have read from the seller's description you get something that's complete crap. Then you become a victim and the seller is praised for their lies.

Sure, the seller said he would refund the records once he received them, but I why should I have to pay for shipping them back.

I fully disagree with this! I've purchased something with the understanding that I'm going to get what I've read in the description. If that is very incorrect, I don't see why I should be responsible for paying for shipping on something that was advertised very falsely to begin with.

I got nowhere with Discogs on this matter. I have since filed a complaint with the Attorney General of Oregon.

Tip for consumers:
I would suggest paying with PayPal and if you get into any problems don't bother with Discogs' customer service because it's a complete waste of time from my personal experience!

There's two parts to my review. I've had my book on Amazon since 2011. To cut the story short I updated the cover some 3 weeks ago now. The front cover was done overnight.

I was told by Amazon that the second photo when you view my book on amazon.com, being that of the back cover will be updated in 10 business days.

Ten business days were up on Friday 12-23-22. Excluding the two holidays that followed, I called back some 15 actual business days later and was told someone would call back within two business days.

Not only was the cover never updated in the time frame and still hasn't been, no one has ever called me back.

My second point to this review is their customer service. The last item that I had delivered the idiot driver left my package at the wrong house and not realizing this at the time I even stopped the driver as he left our premises and he said, "Oh another driver will be by later, probably with your package." When I realized an email had come through, the photograph showed that my package was exactly where he had delivered it on the premises a few doors away from my own.

I've also noticed when you clearly explain something to one of these foreign agents over the phone when they reply it's as if they've not even listened to a word that you've said.

UPDATE:

Thursday 1-12-23. A lady called Shakero (sp) called me back today from the KDP department at Amazon per my request. I explained to her that we are now on 22 business days when I was told the back book cover would be updated within '10 business days.' I also explained to her that when I spoke to Andre on Tuesday 1-3-23 he said that someone would call me back from the KDP department within '48 hours.' I said to her that was 216 hours ago and no one has ever called me back. When I was done explaining everything the call was still connected and I constantly said 'hello' and no one ever spoke back.

When I try to request a call again from Amazon this is what you get and this is how ridiculous this company is:

'''You have already submitted a phone or chat contact request within the last few minutes. Please wait a few minutes before sending another to allow the next available agent to connect with you."""

Tip for consumers:
Don't hold your breath for customer service to call back and don't expect your package to be delivered to your home even when the address is correct.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW:

(Location Willow Creek Road, Prescott Arizona)

Two of the rudest human beings that I've ever come across in the 21 countries that I've stepped foot in and lived in over the years work in the store.

I actually tried to reach the CEO Roz Brewer but she never got back to me.

Twice in under 3 weeks I've walked into this building and have been treated like a piece of garbage. Even today a very calm Martha who was trying to help me ignored this nasty woman who I believe is called Catherine (or Christine) who was treating me with complete and utter disrespect.

Why companies employ individuals like this I will never know.

Complaints were filed to corporate and also to the district manager to which nothing has changed unfortunately.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this location, two of the staff members are absolutely horrible.

I'm a new customer and I started today after being with T-Mobile for over 8 years. I had to leave in the end because it was one lie after another and so many promised callbacks that never came.

Apart from a problem activating the SIM card everything else has been very quick and it's been a beautiful transition. Mints customer service has been very helpful.

Tip for consumers:
The only problem I had was the SIM card activation make sure you have a landline or another cell phone next to you to call customer service

Unfortunately I've been with T-Mobile for over 8 years now and this is my story of recent times:

I've mentioned to quite a few T-Mobile reps over the last month that when I first joined T-Mobile the customer service was absolutely awful with promised calls back that never happened. Then they got better as time went on.

One thing for sure that I've noticed with this company over the last year is they promise to call you back and never do!

I'm still waiting for 2 calls to come back to me from a tech support rep and a supervisor. Both of these calls go back to September 6th and it its now September 30th.

I've never had a call back since, even though both promised to call me. 'Yes promised so whenever somebody at T-Mobile promises to call you back, I'll put a lot of money on the fact that they won't call you and your forgotten about once the phone call ends.'

I called up T-Mobile 3 days ago and a ticket was made up and I was told within 72 hours someone will get back to me and update me on the situation. Not only have I called about this issue 3 times within that time period, I even had a supervisor called Mary who promised she would call me back with results and once again I've never heard anything back from her since.

I've even texted them on the phone number where they get back to you and once again no one has ever gotten back to me. I'm done, enough is enough it's time to move on.

I would advise anybody out there to stay as far away from T-Mobile as possible.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid T-Mobile at all costs!

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW!

I've purchase 3 Pioneer stereo players in the two vehicles that I've owned over the past 20 years. The last was a DEH2800UI which I had bought with the belief that it had Bluetooth hands-free with it.

Unfortunately it was only for pairing your phone with music.

A few months ago I started looking at the Pioneer website to see which hands-free CD stereo I could get for my car. I did a lot of research, reading the reviews on each one and I finally settled on a unit sold by one of the authorized dealers that is on the Pioneer website being Stereo West Auto Toys.

On Martin Luther King Day being Monday 1-18-21 I placed my order for a Pioneer DEH4100BT CD car stereo player.

Within 10 minutes of placing my online order the phone rang and I thought it was a spam call. It wasn't it was Deryll (sp) at the above company.

He said they no longer had the 4100 and would upgrade me to the DEH4200BT and that it would be shipped out that day and that he would email me a tracking number.

He quite clearly stated 'that day.'

The following morning having no tracking number I called back and Deryll said it wasn't shipped out yesterday. I must say I was disappointed.

He updated me with a tracking number later that day. I even called UPS back that evening stating that the tracking number had not been updated and nothing was in their system.

I called Brian at Stereo West Auto Toys minutes later and he along with Ryan and Deryll assured me that this had been sent.

Over the next 5 days I went back and forth with Stereo West Auto Toys and UPS, even getting Grace a supervisor on the phone at one point after being on the phone for a half an hour hold and she assured me UPS had never picked this item up.

Ryan said that UPS are notorious for updating the customer the tracking information after an item has been delivered.

I even filed opened up a billing dispute with American Express stating that I still wasn't sure if this item had even been sent or not because there was no recollection of it in the UPS system.

On the morning of Monday 1-25-21 I called up Deryll who assured me that he was looking at the tracking number and he said it was 'Out for delivery that day.' I asked him how he could see it and I couldn't?

It ends up that after all this time he'd emailed me the incorrect tracking number, giving me a B in the UPS tracking numbers instead of a number 8.

I'd previously asked Deryll how the stereo had been packaged and he said it was inside a brown box.

I called UPS Ground and collected the package myself from Prescott Valley.

Later that day when I finally got within a mile and a half of where I live due to a very, very heavy downfall of snow that day I sat in my car and having watched a video on how to install the radio on Crutchfield.com I decided to put the radio in.

As I cut into the box which was surrounded by brown tape I realized that Deryll had used the 'Pioneer box' itself to package my radio. I was very angry at this lack of care.

I've always kept my Pioneer (and other) boxes for, if and when I resell the item again.

In fact I have the DEH2800UI box in mint condition right now, so that when I sell my radio it shows the buyer that I've looked after and cared for my radio

I literally had to rip the box to pieces in order to get the radio out.

On the morning of Tuesday 1-26-21 I called up Deryll and explained this situation. He said, 'You'll have to turn it inside out man.' When I'd asked Ryan originally why my box was turned inside out his wording was, 'Well people would steal it otherwise.' I believe every package that I've had sent to me throughout my whole life in any country I've lived in, the item is inside a brown box.

This inside out brown box looks no different!

Deryll was unwilling to help. I've since filed a complaint with Pioneer USA support center informing them that one of their authorized dealers is opening their products turning the box inside out and sending it that way.

PIONEER DID GET INVOLVED IN THIS SITUATION AND HAVE SINCE REMOVED STEREO WEST AUTO TOYS FROM THEIR WEBSITE AS AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THAT IS MY ASSUMPTION ON THAT.

AS FAR AS I KNOW THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN SPOKEN TO BY A TOP REP WHO I WAS IN CONVERSATION WITH YESTERDAY.

Tip for consumers:
My advice is to avoid this company all costs. Their reviews on some websites are awful!

12/23/20

This is a ZERO star review by the way.

After being on eBay for 21 years it's time for me to pull the plug. This company is absolutely awful what with its greedy fees, absolute pathetic and horrible customer service and most importantly now they even want your social security number to sell an item.

That was a final straw for me. You are not my boss, I do not work for you and you are not my bank so what gives you the right to want my social security number?

I will not give eBay any more of my time or business. Even after I pulled all of my auctions off of eBay, even as a buyer they blocked me from even sending a message to somebody who I bought from recently and I had to spend an hour on the phone to try and sort that out to which I was told this might be resolved in 48 hours.

It's sad to see a company go from being brilliant to just having no ethics and being completely greedy.
