I desperately wanted to cancel a Visa credit card transaction a couple of days ago and because I could not get through to my bank on the phone, I emailed Visa Europe to ask for assistance in canceling the payment. The reason was that the service I was receiving from the merchant was complete rubbish, which I told him several times.
Now I know Visa Europe are a little bit above this level of dispute but a courteous company might have made a quick call on my behalf to the bank or indeed cancelled the transaction themselves.
But not so, they did not even answer my email (any of them!), much less put them selves out by cancelling the transaction. So thanks for nothing Visa Europe. I don't know what you do all day in your ivory tower but you don't much care about your customers that's for sure.
