First of all, 5 stars for Disney, who solved Isango's problems.

I ordered tickets for a fixed date for Disneyland Paris. They weren't much cheaper then the original site, but you can only order up to 6 tickets there. So I ended up with Isango through a referrer which seemed trustworthy. I went through the order proces. Paid my tickets and received... a blank pdf which pretended to be the vouchers to enter.

Mildly panicking, I logged in to the customer section of the site went to my order and redownloaded the tickets there, still an empty pdf. Everything pointed my nicely to the empty pdf and no explanation was shown on how the process might be different.

After being stuck like this for a while, sending a ticket to the customer service and looking at my bank account really paying the amount of money I decided to look up Isango... That didn't look good. Plenty of experience with people never receiving the tickets they paid for. Overall very bad reviews. Damn...

Contacted my cc company to book back the money. I did need tickets so I ordered them at the official Disneyland site, had my fill of using third parties. I had to do it in multiple orders, but managed to get the tickets. I received the tickets in my mail.

My cc return request was refused, the other party had already withdrawn the money so it couldn't be refunded. Later in my mail I received the tickets from Isango too. Damn. Thats even worse. I now had dated and named tickets all double (except for the errors Isango made in the names, but intended for the same persons), but also all in the same date.

This was really awkward as there is no use for the same ticket twice as they are both dated and named. I contacted Isango customer service again. Since they provided me an empty pdf for the tickets in the first place and have pretty rotten reviews, I now had double tickets and double the costs. Isango could do nothing for me, though luck, they didn't even try. They use a third party to provide the tickets and they can't fix anything.

Wow! So the money is gone to the third party, they can provide no service and because their own site is royally unclear (apparently the place where you can download your tickets on the Isango site and the initial mail you receive from Isango with the tickets in it, intentionally don't work, as the third party sends them in a separate later mail, which can btw also end up in your spam folder).

Isango is an awful idea. They don't do anything but be a middle man. Anything goes wrong you're out of luck, if the third party doesn't provide, not their problem. Stay away from this site.

Disney fortunately was willing to help, though they weren't a party in the order process. They rebooked our double tickets to another day. So we were able to enjoy both parks. Now that's service, the next time I will skip Isango.
