Not only is TheLadders a scam, it has been written up by Harvard University as a case of no value and scam. See HBR link below.
They never have any valid job postings for execs - in the rare event ifthey do, they can be found on other free sites like simplyhired. Not worth it!

Doostang has stale job postings majority of the time. Even if the job posting is current, it is available elsewhere as well (on indeed, simplyhired, monster etc.)
I think Doostang and The Ladders are scam and should be avoided - all they want is your money and not deliver anything of value.

Thanks for your feedback and sharing that 2008/2009 study by Harvard! You'll see in the report that, early in Ladders existence, "we [didn't] accept money from hiring companies". A lot has changed since 2009- especially the way we source and vet jobs. Aside from the obvious- our jobs pay $100K and above and we have a continually-improving vetting process around that- we've built lasting relationships with companies and recruiters that have a vested interest in interviewing and hiring via our jobsite, leading us to have more engaged users on both sides of the house (jobseekers and recruiters).
