Ordered a patio set on BJ's website on 9/11/2021 and a schedule delivery was set for the 29th of September between 1pm and 5pm with their contracted company Metropolitan Warehouse. On the 29th Metropolitan Warehouse never showed up. I called Metropolitan Warehouse and they stated nobody was home due to the fact that nobody picked up the phone. I asked the agent did anyone knock on the door? The agent stated "The driver called while they were 20 minutes away and since nobody answered the phone they canceled the delivery" I explained to the agent that a delivery was scheduled between 1pm and 5pm and not showing up or knocking on the door is absolutely no excuse. (So calling is the new knocking) I tried calling back within 2 minutes several times and nobody answered. I had no option to leave a voicemail.
The agent stated the next delivery available was on October 15th 2021 or to call BJ's if I wanted to pick up the item at the warehouse. This is my issue with BJ's if you google or look for reviews on Metropolitan Warehouse you would understand how horrific this company is when it comes to deliveries. BJ's knows this company has a 1.8 star rating with thousands of customers yet they continue using them as their primary delivery service. BJ's blows and so does Metropolitan Warehouse…won't order anything online via BJ's again. One and done!
