I had been retired for a couple of years from work in information systems groups and wanted to work part-time, and I wanted to telecommute if possible. I tried a number of online job boards and sent out a ton of resumes and cover letters, and filled out many applications, but nothing came of it except a lot of spam from job boards I hadn't contacted. Then I tried Flexjobs and landed a part-time telecommuting job that I enjoy within a couple of weeks.
