While I own and have used Rand McNally GPS', I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone buy them.
I have a TND750 truck gps that, while plugged in to power supply goes dead. The battery will not hold a charge, even when hooked to power. When not in use and not hooked to power, battery will loose charge in 2 - 3 days.
Contacted Rand about this issue, was sent a new power cord and magnetic charge base. Needless to say, this didn't solve issue.
Contacted them again for same issue, plus gps now freezes up and can't locate GPS satellites for proper operation.
Was asked by person I spoke with to send in two (2) pictures of some screens I was directed to, did that as well.
After sending the pictures and explaining issues with my gps, was told they would forward the pictures and information to another department.
Then was told I would have to wait for that department to decide what to do about the issues with my gps.
Also found out personally that Rand McNally will not repair any product out of warranty anymore.
Talk about selling you a high priced piece of equipment, then leave you stranded with it.
I guess they are going to wait till the warranty is up on my current gps, then tell me to try and find someone to repair it for me.
So no, I cannot and will not recommend their products to anyone again.


While I have placed two (2) orders with them and received both, I had a charge applied to my account for something that I did not order.
Contacted them and they could not find any other I had placed for the amount charged.
Now they will not reimburse me the unknown charge amount. Therefore I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone.
