Nav Athwal is back at it again. With his new venture, Terra AG Ventures, In agricultural pistachio and pecan nut investment opportunity, let's hope it's not run the same as his last start up venture ending abruptly in 2018, Realty Shares. Realty shares, a real estate crowdfunding investment platform created by Nav Athwal and colleagues led investors to believe very lucrative investment opportunities existed and backed.
The pitch was made these were thoroughly vetted and that borrowers were personal guarantors for the loans/ investments.
Also the loans (investments) were safe since the debt was secured by the property in the event of default. All this due diligence, never occurred. As of 2018 most the investors were defrauded out of millions upon millions of dollars in invested funds. The Ponzi scheme came to an end. As I write this in 2021, there are many open class action lawsuits against Nav Athwal, Ed Forst, Realty Shares, RS Lending, IRM etc. When investors stopped receiving monthly distributions in 2018 across hundreds of unrelated individual investments all around the country, the phones turned off at Realty shares there was no one to return calls or emails. Mr Athwal along with all other staff vanished and later they filed bankruptcy. Let's hope that this new agricultural venture is run nothing like Realty Shares, however I will feel much safer keeping my investment money far away from this new venture as history tends to repeat itself.
Nav Athwal and his family Karen Athwal are great story tellers and promoters.
Before considering this new venture please look up the facts online about Mr. Nav Athwal, and Realty Shares. You will thank me later.

Tip for consumers:
Research realty shares first. Be careful

Only servicing Malibu boats under warranty. Except off season they will service your used Malibu boat, then return it back to customer broken with the same issues and charge you for all repairs. When you bring it to their attention, its not their problem and you can wait for several weeks for them to even consider looking at it, if they are not busy. This is on a 2013 very well maintained boat in excellent condition. After bringing my boat in for service, I now have the original issue still not working and additional issues that were not a problem when i dropped it off. The bill was paid immediately once they said the boat was ready.

Also, the kicker is they hang up the phone on customers, don't return calls and further patronize the service customers. Bottom line is that they don't warranty or honor their service repairs and from what I'm hearing now in the boating community, there are quite a few people in the same situation that brought their boats in for service at this dealer.

Tip for consumers:
Malibu Boats- Forget your warranty on work performed. Forget any respect towards customers. Shoddy repairs, service and customer care.
