I booked this afternoon (10/30) and then needed to cancel (funeral arrangements for family coming in for recent death in the family). Only then did I find that the room I thought was booked through the hotel website was actually thru getaroom.com and the cancellation was only allowed prior to 5 pm on 10/30. Hilton/Hampton cannot help me. Isn't there some way this room can be cancelled. It is for 11/3-4, which should be plenty of time. I have NEVER seen a site that you had to cancel within 4-5 hours or pay full price penalty. Please help!!!
