I've loved thredup for a long time as a buyer and seller, but something has REALLY changed recently for the Worse. My most recent bag they took only 4 items which is super low for me but I thought whatever it happens. Then I saw that they only gave me a little over $2 for everything! Including a NWT hat that retails over $60 and they have priced at 14.99 and a designer dress and two designer tops. I thought it had to be a mistake so I contacted customer service and was promplty ignored for a week. Then this Mylene girl gets back with me and replies with the same email to me twice in a row. Can tell they really pay attention. Ultimately she informed me that they would only give me 5% and sometimes 10%. If that's how it's going to be now, I'm more than happy to start supporting my local consignments instead. Their "convenance" of shipping things in has lost it's value (they've started charging $9 to send things anyway). I've been treated like an annoying inconvenience since the beginning from their joke of a Customer Service rep. So as a buyer and seller, I'm out. Do yourself a favor and look up local consignments, I make 40% of all my sales at mine! Not this 5% CON of a website.
