I have already written one review about this company and I just happened to finally come across the companies response to my review in my email. Now they are trying to say that I could not apply due to criminal charges. How would u know weather or not I have criminal charges when I NEVER TURNED IN A BACKGROUND CHECK! I am a veteran of the US Navy I have no record and I have been working in child care on a military instillation for three years. I think this website is a false front someone created to take money from american citizens. I have never heard of anyone hiring any of their employees nor have I seen anyone ever work for them. And if one more fradulant thing is posted about my supposed backgroung I'm going straight to my attourny generals office.

Hello Jessica, unfortunately the decision to close your account can not be reversed. Any time a criminal case appears on the results of a Verification Check or Background Check we are forced to put the account under suspension. Regardless of the date or outcome of the case, it still appears on your record as a charge and according to our Terms of Use this disqualifies you from using our service.

Furthermore, as mentioned in our Terms of Use, by using the site or services as a member, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Care.com has the right to use a third party consumer reporting agency on an ongoing basis to use your personal information to run periodic background checks. I apologize for the negative experience, but we run these checks for the legitimate business purpose of protecting the safety and integrity of our site and its users.

Unfortunately, I've had some car issues that caused me to be a little late making my cable payment and I was sent a letter of disconnect saying my bill was due to be paid by 5:00 PM on the 15th so on the 13th two days before my so called disconnect date Time Warner disconnected my services anyway. When I called to find out what was going on I was told some nonsence about some bill bucket cycle that caused my services to be disconnected prior to the date on the letter sent out by their company. So naturally I asked for a manager who I waited twenty minutes on hold to speak to. As soon as the manager comes to the phone he informed me that my services have been restored miraculously and that my disconnect date will not be till the 15th again; he could not give me any explanation as to why they disconnected my services early and his customer service was ridiculously sub par, however, this is to be expected from Time Warner as I have had issues with poor customer service, lost appointments, failure to adequately post information to my account, and all of this is happening while they are publicising their commercials with the slogan "Time Warner has changed". Well they have changed several articles online have proven that charter spectrum/charter communications is buying them out. I am truly happy about this since I moved from an area that had Charter to an area that had Time Warner so if your not a fan of Time Warner a better solution is on the way.

For a few weeks I was receiving calls from spectrum my Internet provider to try a free trial of their new streaming TV feature. The trial was for 7 days and I was supposed to pick 10 channels that I wanted to be stream able from my devices to my TV. I do not have a smart TV I did not feel the need to upgrade since I purchased Chromecast devices for 25.00 each for all 3 of my tvs and I can watch anything from my phone to my TV through the Chromecast. However, spectrum said it was only 24.00 if I liked it and wanted to keep the 10 live streaming channels and 5 - 10 bucks for any additional channel which is still cheaper than Hulu's live TV and YouTube's live TV. So I tried it for the seven days and was unable to utilize the service because it was not compatible to Chromecast as advertised. So I called technical support and found out that they are still working out the issues to make the app work for Chromecast. So I was given and extra 30 days of my free trial to see if they would have this fixed by then. Unfortunately even after I waited the 30 days I was still unable to use the app with my Chromecast. I can't stand false advertising.

So my boyfriend was browsing the playstore and decided he wants some new emojis on his phone. So he downloads this app with lots of great pictures and reviews from the super secure google play store that has things like our credit card info for subscriptions and app purchases cause no worries google play has security right. I mean they would never have my information on the app and allow me to download apps that were not checked for security breaches to their customers. Well guess what ladies and gentle men something slipped through the damn cracks and now I'm wondering how many more breaches their are. My boyfriend downloaded the Emoji Home app and this lovely app from the "secured GOOGLE PLAYSTORE" downloaded two other apps as well called market and personalized. The app also stays running in the background even after you force it to stop and took 361mb worth of space on his phone. Not only that this damn emoji app changes your settings rendering you unable to uninstall it by pressing on the app or going through settings and it then changes all the settings on your phone causing your phone to act crazy while also draining your battery. We were only able to uninstall it by finding the emoji home app on the google play store and hitting uninstall that way which uninstalled all three apps and set his phone settings and screen back to normal. Upon further inspection of the app in the play store I noticed that we were unable to leave a review this was a big red flag that means the hundreds of reviews are fake also their is no developer just and email address *******@gmail.com. So how many other apps are like this on the damn security efficient google play store which has my credit card information. Where the hell is the damn vetting process from Google or can any hacker throw an app on the store to steal from consumers and monitor their phones. My boyfriend started to send an angry email to the developer email address but who knows what they can do to him if he does now that we dont know what or if any information may have been retrieved from his phone because of this app. Google needs to explain! Last but not least their are several reviews about this app with people telling each other how to uninstall the app and they have been talking about this app since june of 2018 and google play still has is in the playstore a year later?! Come on man are they getting paid to help people steal our information?. I'm not even a hacker and I put all this together how cant google find a breach?! I am calling for an immediate overhaul of their vetting process. How do you endorse apps that dont allow honest reviews and is anyone doing follow up checks on these apps to ensure they didnt operate one way to be in the playstore then change up development later. I expect better and I'm sure all other google play store users agree.

  • Walmart MoneyCard

I have used the walmart money card for about two years now for all my banking needs and direct deposits. I have had no issues with the card accept for sometimes being unable to use it at gas pumps and not being able to find an ATM that won't charge me for withdrawls. What I love most about the card is the ability to get my paycheck a few days earlier than everyone else. Due to the government shutdown im assuming walmart and green dot bank who is the financial institution behind the walmart money card is apparently not providing the deposits as early as they would prior to the shutdown. My VA pay which is normally deposited on the 26th of each month or the 25th if the 26th falls on a weekend has not been deposited. I'm not really complaining due to the fact that the walmart money card does pay my benefits 5 to 6 days earlier than even the Credit Unions; but it would have been nice to have a heads up about the companies plans to pay the direct deposits later than usual due to the shutdown. So for anyone out their like me who made weekend plans thinking you would have the funds to go or still wondering where your money is your not alone. I love my walmart money card but a little heads up would have been nice. I'm aware that they only guaranteed my deposits to be 2 days earlier but if you know you have been consistantly providing a service earlier than usual just inform me when changes will be made don't have the support staff make me feel mentally I'll when I call to find out where my direct deposit is. Especially when this person can see what days my deposits hit and has no reason for me as to why my money is not their. A simple notification or email would have been sufficient.
