Liars!

On March 22,2021, I ordered a Purespa 140-Jet Inflatable Hot Tub (Intex) for $949.99 with an estimated delivery date of April 5. This was great since it was birthday gift for April 14th.

On March 26th, I get an email saying there is a delay and the new estimated delivery date is April 12th. No problem.

Wanting to ensure that there will not be additional delays, I message to inquire about the shipping date, and if Wayfair anticipates additional delays. (side note- this product is now $60.00 cheaper on their website) I was assured by Michaela L. On March 31st that my order was scheduled to ship out by the end of the day and arrive on or before April 12th. At this point I believe the agent and feel confident that my order will be here in time.

On April 4th, I receive another email saying that my order will be delayed once again, with a new estimated delivery date of April 19th. At this point we had purchased an enclosure and lights from Amazon for the tub. We had also created a base pad with concrete blocks to place the hot tub on.

On April 11, I receive yet another email of a delay, with an estimated delivery date of April 26th. I email Wayfair and ask how many more times it will be delayed and that I was beyond frustrated, and clearly what was told to me previously, was a lie! On April 12th I receive a response from Galen S. To tell me that it has been back-ordered three times and that the shipment delay was a result of the need for additional information or clarification warehouse and freight (whatever that means) and that the reason for backorder was the wrong shipping method selected. Galen went on to say that this was unusual because the shipping method is at the supplier's discretion. My estimated delivery date is still April 26th and an agent would reach out to me within 24 hours with additional information.

On April 15th, I receive another email from Wayfair saying that my order was cancelled because the item is discontinued. I contact customer service once again expressing my frustration, and inquire why the item is still being advertised on their website.
I receive an email saying that their website is not updated in real-time.

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with this company. Terrible customer service. I took advantage of the pay bright option and have made 3 weekly payments on this item and still haven't received a refund. Just a terrible experience all around! Never again! Liars.

*Update: April 19th. This same product that was apparently discontinued is still being advertised on the website for $1251. 84. No wonder they cancelled!
