Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and I am writing this because I got extremely happy about how this website made me feel as a customer/bidder.

One afternoon, as I was doing my regular "rounds" on Facebook, I saw a post in my news feed with a genie photo on it. Not wanting to be outdated about what's hot and what not in the local market nowadays, I clicked on the link that went with it and so I was redirected to a website called Bid It.

I continued navigating the website because I was totally clueless why most people in my network have been raving about it. I found a link that says FREE DEMO (no registration required). I tried the demo since the site requires no further obligation on my part and true to their promise, it was free and informative. I couldn't really believe that I was actually watching a tutorial on how to make a bid. Believe me, for a bidding-neophyte like me, the mechanics was really easy to understand and I was able to grasp the entire concept of the game in no time.

I registered and I got my one time gift from Bid It worth Php 50 of free bids. During my first bid, I got a bit frustrated because all my bids were not unique and not the lowest so they got outruled several times. How did I come to know? Because whenever I make a bid that is not unique and not the lowest, my name gets to the bottom of the auction window and becomes grayed out. The game was really fascinating that it got me hooked for a time, longer than I intended. Don't worry if your free bids run out, you can still get free bids by sharing Bid It to your friends on Facebook. Imagine to get the latest gadget just by spreading the news to others and at a tiny fraction of the actual price of it. How cool would that be? And if you are wanting to get more bids, they have credit bundle offers that are truly affordable. Amazing isn't it?

I even experienced being the top bidder for one of their auctions and that is the most challenging part, to wish that other bidders would not outbid yours. As I worked my way up to be the top bidder, I also learned to strategize whether to bid as soon as a new auction is launched or play before the auction ends. It's every bidder's call.

Moreover, another element in the website that caught my attention are their genies or the so-called Bidjins. Bid It allows every user to choose one Bidjin that would represent them by becoming the user's avatar or default photo. I also learned that each Bidjin has an interesting profile that every child-at-heart would surely fall for. Of course, I chose Jinn Selene for she's the closest to my personality. You're asking why? Well, you have got to find that yourself. It is more fun that way, you know.

Lastly, I really have to commend Bid It's customer service because of my concern that was attended to in a very professional and prompt fashion. Knowing myself as a visual person, I'm really particular about the interface and image resolution. I made a suggestion on how to improve their interface and I got a response from the Bid It team in less than an hour. I really appreciated how they valued my insights because that only means they just want the best, most convenient, entertaining and the superb bidding experience for all their bidders.
