First off I contacted customer service with a warranty claim on a defective HID ballast right out of the box. It takes nearly a week for a response with every email. After running me around with troubleshooting tips and telling me that they would replace the bad part, they decided not too. The first emails said "Sorry to hear about the one bulb not performing as expected. In cases like this I can simply replace the component that is not working correctly with a brand new part." and "Let me know the results and I will get that part shipped out ASAP, thank you!" But when I provided them a copy of my invoice they told me "Unfortunately, I will not be able to send replacement parts as this kit was ordered through warehouse deals, inc, and not OPT-7."
I ordered the light from Amazon, Warehouse Deals, NIB with 2 Year Warranty, but they do not stand behind the product they make if Amazon or anyone else sells it.
The item the customer was inquiring about is a very rare very heavy item that only ships from one of our many warehouses. We choose to quote a few items based on location and quantity so we can make sure to give the customer the best deal possible. If you look at our site you will find we do offer free shipping and 99% of them items can be purchased immediately but there are a select specialty items that we want to quote customer to customer.
