We live in West Wendover and came into Orem to purchase a car for my daughter on April 16 th. Before leaving we called the dealership to see if the car we were interested in was at the dealership, they said yes. So when we got to SLC we decided to call again just to make sure, they said yes again. So we go to Orem the car wasn't there and hasn't been there at all that day. Disappointed and confused why they kept assuring the car was there and it wasn't, we decided to look around anyways. We found a 2018 Toyota Camry with ******* miles on it and we bought it along with the warranty. About half way back to Wendover " reduce engine power return to dealership " along with the engine light. We called the dealership, they said bring it back it's probably just a sensor blah blah blah. We had the car towed back to Action Auto. Got the call it was fixed drove back to Orem and got it. At this point I asked Jake if we could talk to the owner about our situation and he said I can't give out his number so I asked him if he could please call us. Problem happens again we call them, they want us to bring the car in again. We ended up taking the car to Toyota (Karl Malone). They fixed some recalls and thought that might of fixed the problems. So we took the car back to Wendover, drove it around town and it was good for a couple weeks. Problem occurred again trying to make a trip to Lagoon, same issue with the car, it went into limp mode. We called Action Auto and said we want to trade this car in, it's under full warranty we need a car that doesn't require a tow truck to follow it. Jake said ok, pick out some cars and we will get them ready for you. Upon arriving we drove a few cars and were trying to decide. Then Jake said the "Owner" wants to keep your car for 2 days before we trade it in. I requested to speak to the owner again, again told no. So what we have is a salesman telling us one thing, the finance guy telling us another, and the " owner" saying another. What kind of business will not let you speak to the owner about this nightmare car sale that happened. We left the broken car there since we just drove it all the way to Orem then the owner changed his mind or whatever. After 2 days nothing. When I called some things I got from the salesman were…. The owner won't talk to you, he is on vacation, maybe COVID19, he is working on fencing at his farm and his cell phone only works when I call him because of service. They offered a trade in 1000 less than we just bought it for. The car had been backed into and insurance was scheduled to fix the repair, so no cost to Action Auto insurance claim and repaired scheduled. Picture below.

At this point we realized we had no choice to go get the car and get out of the hamster wheel with these scammers. Took the car to Larry H Miller, the car had been previously wrecked ( which was promised it wasn't and we only get top on the line cars blah blah blah) the mechanic there was able to spot the problem with naked eye. 944.00 in repairs, I reached out to Action to cover the repair. Action wanted me to bring the car back there for the 4 th time to their mechanic that obviously couldn't find or fix the problem the last 3 times. Was told they would cover the parts but Eric and Jason the owners seen I left a 1 star review and now they won't cover anything. Oh and of course neither of the 2 warranties cover it because it was in a wreck. I have never wrote a bad review on a business, but don't want anyone else to go through this nightmare with these guys. Owners that won't speak to a customer after 2 months of miscommunication and terrible service. Hey Jason and Eric what are you afraid of? Why don't you try being transparent with the customer instead of all this smoke and mirrors. What a joke!
