I would rate this site highly on the number of points offered and the incentives for earning those points, but it's nearly impossible to even get a survey to take. The biggest problem I've had with the site is messages that surveys have filled up. I don't see how this is even remotely possible when I have clicked on surveys within seconds of them being posted. Having been on this site now for more than a month, I estimate that this has happened to me about 100 times as I remain on survey sites for up to two hours at a time just to earn a little extra money. But there's very little money to be earned if you can't take the surveys. I don't mind being disqualified for demographic reasons, but when you can't even get on a survey to get disqualified, that's a real problem. Also, many of the surveys posted appear to be the same surveys under different names. They give you three word codes for each survey, but many of those surveys have the same number of points, same number of minutes required, are posted at the same time - and they are all full within seconds of posting. This does not happen at other survey sites.

I'm glad that I found this site and have had an opportunity to read similar complaints about PCH. Putting the technical difficulties aside for now, I've been playing these games for five or six years and have accumulated nearly 6 million tokens. You'd think that after playing literally thousands of games during this time, I would have won at least one $10 prize by now for my efforts -- nope. The site is obviously intended primarily to encourage the purchase of their direct marketing products. I have bought many of these products over the years and have usually been reasonably happy with my purchases; however, the shipping/handling fees are outrageously high and have discouraged me from making any additional purchases in the future. In general, PCH seems to be somewhat ethically challenged. A review of Wikipedia's reports of PCH's many lawsuits, government regulation violations, and its reputation as a junk mail producer. I originally searched for this site because of constant technical difficulties at PCH with the scratcher and instant win games, but I'm starting to realize that these complaints represent only a very small part of the overall problems associated with doing business with PCH. And by the way -- don't bother complaining to PCH if you're frustrated by these technical issues. They didn't even respond to my last email to customer service and my prior complaint was met by a request that I place a phone call. Yeah, that's just what I need; to spend half my afternoon on hold with tech support, especially since I've already reported this issue several times in the past.

I've been shopping on Poshmark for about six months. Although I've been pleased for the most part with the sellers and the items I've bought, I do not like the way this site is set up at all. I like to shop for gold and diamond jewelry, and I browse through the site frequently for new additions. I have a large listing of "favorited" items on file, and I keep them for future reference when I can afford the items being sold. However, after a while I started to notice that I wasn't getting answers to the questions I asked to some of the sellers. On jewelry, I always ask about a receipt or an appraisal. But I began to realize that many of these "sellers" do not actually have active accounts anymore. They haven't updated the items they're selling for months, and in some cases, years. I discovered that approximately 30% of the items I had favorited were like that. So it was just a huge waste of time, browsing through the site and finding items that interested me, only to discover that the sellers really weren't sellers anymore. When I wrote to Poshmark management about this, I got a very weak response indicating that I shouldn't expect to get whatever I wanted on the site. That was not my point at all! What I wanted was to know whether or not the person I was trying to do business with actually had the item for sale anymore. What's wrong with that? I don't understand why Poshmark has a policy of letting people stay on the site indefinitely, if they don't actually have items for sale anymore. There are so many accounts like this it is absolutely ridiculous. Since Poshmark seems to have no interest in having a more professional site, one that is more favorable to buyers, I'll eventually just take my business elsewhere. Poshmark is not the only site of its kind on the internet, and they should realize that. On a more minor note, I've also noticed a lot of mean-spirited comments in the threads on some of the items for sale. Buyers making rude comments about the prices asked for an item, sellers getting into arguments with buyers because they didn't like being questioned about the authenticity of an item for sale, etc. One seller made an incorrect comment about a gemstone ring she was selling. When I provided her with correct information about the stone, she became outraged and insulted me, saying that I didn't know what I was talking about. There are no board monitors at this site as near as I can tell, so good luck trying to avoid these rude and immature jerks.
