Verified site experience

I looked at several online eyeglass companies with discount pricing, and this was the most pleasant and easiest experience so far. Things like narrowing down size (very important!) and filtering for other reasons are made simple. Also, the review section is much better than it is on other sites. I can see how your frames - with prescription lenses in them - look on real people and I can read what they do and do not like about each set of frames. It's really been a good experience so far!

Reason I chose this business:

I need to get low-cost eyeglasses, especially since I'm trying out a new thing - intermediate vision lenses. If I'm happy with this order, I'm likely to use EBD to buy higher-end eyeglasses when I need them. And I might just get a spare of my regular eyeglasses. Also, you have excellent reviews on various websites, which helped me trust you.

Even the name of this site shows a clear bias. A site that legitimately shares scientific info has no investment or bias. It reports the facts. The first post here is a parody music video about global warming being a scam. Other posts used biased, inflammatory language like "exposed" and "indoctrinated." The one post that appeared to be scientific was from another site and by a man named John O'Sullivan who doesn't list any credentials to show that he actually knows what he's saying. And since those who do have credentials disagree with him, I'm not going to believe him. The bottom line, though, is that a truly scientific site is going to post results. As more information is discovered, it will post those too, even if they contradict previous information. True science has no bias and no investment in one result or another.

Publishes climate change propaganda, such as a letter it claimed was signed by "esteemed scientists and professionals in climate science" claiming that "there is no climate change emergency." These are not esteemed scientists, most signers do not have climate change expertise, and they are not the 97% who agree that climate change is a very serious issue. In fact, the letter was spearheaded by climate change denier Guus Berkhout. This publication is extremely biased to the point of being non-factual.
