I am an avid shopper and hunter for gently used classic clothing. I made the huge mistake of ordering what appeared in photos to be nice pieces. In retrospect I should have ordered one piece first to get a feel for what merchandise was like and sizing. I was shocked to learn that each piece that didn't work came with a $1.99 restocking fee! For used clothing? I only wish I would have read that prior to purchase. In addition, to send back merchandise for a refund I have to pay roughly $8.00 for label to return. I kept one "little black dress" with tags still on and a casual striped T shirt. The rest of the order
Etiher looked shabby or didn't fit. On line photos lie! I will NEVER return to THRED Up once this is resolved. Folks read between the lines and all fine print prior to ordering. Lesson learned! If i could rate accurately would give a firm O.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site unless you trust photos you see and absolutely know your size. Although shipping is free if you keep everything you order, returning is $1.99 for EACH piece and if you want your refund back to you, you have to go to site and print a label which you pay for...defeats the whole purpose of trying to find decent (and all are not) used clothing at cheaper prices. Either go thrift on your own time or go to sales which often have brand new clothing at same prices as THREAD up.
