My pre-order and many others never shipped. I waited for 2 months. I had to make a paypal claim to get a refund. She gave me a fake tracking number that never updated. I think it was done out of spite because I kept asking about my order and she obviously was mad about it, but guess what, shipping orders is part of the job. This happened to many others as well, where tracking never updated past "label created". She ignored my emails for days and would only answer occasionally with excuses. She only started acknowledging missing orders when customers commented on her facebook page. There were many comments on their facebook profile asking what happened to their orders, but they have all been deleted because the owner doesn't want customers knowing they're running a scam. The owner was very rude whenever I asked her questions. Her product descriptions (such as shipping dates) are wrong and if you point this out, they become unhinged. The owner's public responses are different than her private messages. She is vile and will constantly try to save face. I noticed many discrepancies between what she says for every customer, giving each person different times of when the palettes would be ready. Orders are not shipped in the "order of purchase date" as the owner claims. Newer orders with newly released eyeshadows get priority over pre-orders made months ago that should have been shipped already. She launches palettes faster than completing previous pre-orders. By the way, the owner does not make any of the eyeshadows like she wants to claim. She orders the packaging and the eyeshadow and only assembles it. There's been accounts of eyeshadow's falling out of palettes because they were cheaply glued into cardboard. Stay away, not only for the bad quality makeup, but also because of the disgusting owner. 0 rating.

The website is constantly having glitches and errors. One day, an item's page will be up, then suddenly the page will be completely missing, only to go up again later. I once emailed about this problem because I wanted to order a product that was in the search results, but the link kept redirecting me to another item, and all I got was "clear your cache, use a different browser, or use a different device". I sent another email explicitly stated that this issue was on their end and their reply was a copy-paste, "We truly apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in processing your order we had an system issue with our website. If you need further assistance on processing the order, please call *******783 & a representative will be happy to assist and process the order for you!".

Speaking of broken website, I ordered a sweater that still showed to have my size available. An hour after I ordered, the sweater was cancelled because it was "out of stock". The page still showed that all sizes were available, so either rue21 didn't update the item's page to show that it was out of stock, or they made a mistake and did have the inventory after all. I would have just cancelled the order, but I used a reward that I don't think they would have refunded. I didn't want to chance having my order cancelled again, so I didn't try to re-order the sweater in the same size, and went for the next size up. Surprisingly, that did ship, but strangely, after I ordered, the whole page for the sweaters went down, in all colorways and sizes. Rue21 really needs to work on their website, because as is, it doesn't always reflect the correct prices, will have pages randomly disappear and reappear, and the stock availability isn't accurate.
