They pretend that they will give you care and promise you the world, acting like they have a bunch of people who can help you. They don't. They had 4 people to choose from, and 2 of them rejected my request to connect before I even got started because I wasn't able to pay $30 an hour out of pocket. They treat the customers like trash, and "Lauren" is just a recruiter that tries to get money from both sides. Just go with an agency and don't waste your time with this scam. It really is a scam and I wasted a lot of precious time thinking it was legitimate. They did nothing but lie to me and not help me, and they probably won't help you either.

*** Update in regards to response: Lauren Tarrant aged 42 is not only a recruiter and a poor nurse, but a liar trying to save face. I told her that I only needed a few hours per week and that I was offering a starting rate (as suggested to me) of $15 an hour or more depending on needs and she LAUGHED and INSULTED ME and said something like "What do you think this is McDonalds? No one will work for that rate", to which I said I would increase it up to $30 and she replied: "You better".

I DID NOT suggest or EVER imply placing ANYONE in an "unsafe environment". I had merely tried to convey that *I* did not feel safe to *leave* my environment due to the possibility of losing possessions. That placed NO ONE at risk EXCEPT ME, and this desperate hack of a nurse seems to want to pretend that I was bringing caregivers into a Mad Max setting or some riot zone. No lady, you're wrong. If you want to insult me you can try again to save face, but you'll get nowhere.

Actually, the truth is still that your company is a SCAM and YOU are a CON ARTIST trying to take advantage of disabled and elderly people! That is the truth and your comments won't change it!

It is absolutely and utterly shameful that not only do you lie in your response, but you try to turn it into a pathetic attempt to market to people. I think everyone already knows to steer clear, and if SiteJabber isn't enough, they need to see the 2 star (or less) rating on Google Reviews in addition to this place because it's more detailed and many more people have been taken advantage on there for you to see. I knew I couldn't have been the only one, and sure enough, I wasn't! Go look for yourself and see if "Lauren" wants to make advertisements on there and pretend everyone else is placing the NON-EXISTENT "care givers" in "unsafe environments" with her twisted little mind.

Well Beyond Care? No. Well beyond corruption and lies and searching for a REAL caregiver solution because this isn't it! The only thing they do is ADD to your stress, lie to you, harass you, and waste your time! Look elsewhere!

Tip for consumers:
Just don't. Contact the state or city health care and ask them what options you have, because this clearly isn't one.

Products used:
Nothing. They REFUSED to provide ANY service. They want you to put a card on file but after that they give you nothing. It's a scam.

Lauren T. – Well Beyond Care Rep

Actually, the truth is that I am a nurse (42 years) and it’s my pleasure to help folks find in home care – anything to avoid a nursing home or facility if possible. Our goal is to make it affordable while paying the caregiver a good wage as well. Our commitment is to safety and care. When I talked with this gentleman, he presented an unsafe environment for a caregiver. The price was not an issue but safety is. He told me he only needed care for an hour or two to make sure that someone would guard his possessions while he got out. He described the situation and said that he didn’t have a primary care physician and that’s why he needed to get out of his house. He told me he had Medicare and Medicaid. I gave him resources for a caregiver possibly paid by the state and I also told him that MD’s now visit in his home and will bill Medicare. I also gave him information to seek help in his State through DHS. He was very angry when I told him that I couldn’t put his caregiver at risk and he needed to seek other options. I was clear to tell him that the money was not the issue but keeping our caregiver safe was.
More and more people want to stay in their own home as they age. Families are out of state or unable to assist and it’s hard to find safe and affordable long term care and companionship. While many cannot afford the exorbitant rates of traditional homecare agencies they also realize that they need to know how to self direct care and prepare for the future. We know, at Well Beyond Care, that we will live longer lives than our ancestors and a solution is needed. By finding the Right Fit at the Right Price with the Right Guidance and Support, we will reduce hospital stays, emergency room visits as well as your STRESS.
