I purchased a workshop manual for a Honda Stream 2001. The product description claims the file format is PDF and the computer requirements are Adobe PDF Reader and winzip.
However the only file I am provided to download is an OVA file which requires VirtualBOX to be downloaded & installed. VirtualBox also requires access to the network.
I purchased this product believing I would have a PDF copy, PDF files can be viewed on almost every device and can also be printed. OVA files can only be viewed on a computer, Linux, Apple or Windows, they cannot be printed or viewed on a mobile device.
I have contacted customer support but customer support and asked for either a PDF copy or a refund. They have offered to setup the VirtualBox Network for me but that is not what I paid for and does not have the functionality I would have with a PDF and that I require. They have not even addressed my request for a refund.
Avoid purchasing from this company, their product description is not accurate, their customer support is lacking and they refuse to honor the sales agreement.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid using this company for emanuals. Find a site that provides a PDF copy and honors their sales agreement when problems arise.

Products used:
None, I cannot use the product they have provided in the format they have provided it.

Hi James - I'm sorry you're not happy with your recent purchase and experience.

I have reviewed your case with our support team. I'm not quiet sure how you were expecting a PDF when the manual you've purchased is this: https://www.emanualonline.com/cars/honda/stream/honda-stream-workshop-manual-emo-529.html - Please reference this against your payment and order confirmation email. The screen shot your showing is of different product - to which we have admitted there is an error but this is not the product you ordered, to further add which is also a. OVA file. May be you could do a screen grab of the entire screen with the URL, file type, and also the cost of the manual?

https://www.emanualonline.com/cars/honda/stream/honda-stream-workshop-manual-emo-529.html - It does not state on this product description you're purchasing a PDF. It clearly states you're purchasing a. OVA file. We do not have in PDF version in our library. To also add YES you can print via the VM.

So I think it's unfair that you give us a 1 star review based off the mistake YOU made. We're always happy to replace for another manual or offer store credit, and on many occasions we offer full refunds (at management discretion), but the fact you're not prepare to admit that you are in the wrong. Our position remains the same with replacement or store credit and I'm afraid we won't be offering a refund.

I expected the item within 5 business days and haven't received it three weeks later.
I ordered a winter coat on 23 March 2021. The product page claims a shipping time of 24 hours and delivery time of 2-5 business days.
A tracking number was generated on 24 March but no courier activity shows until 27 March 2021. When I didn't receive the item after one week I checked the order details. Although the product page claims delivery within 5 business days the order details say estimated delivery time if 5-8 business days and shipping method if 8-15 business days.
I contacted customer service over a week ago and they have not responded however they did reply to my negative review on another platform.
I've also found countless complaints against this company for the same and similar reasons. This appears to be a common problem with this company.
I regret having ordered with them, this is a reminder to do my research on ecommerce sites before buying anything from them.
I am in desperate need of the winter coat I ordered and need the refund to order a replacement.

Tip for consumers:
shop somewhere else and do your research for reviews.

This is Customer Service Supervisor from Lightinthebox. I would like to resolve your confusion and problem.

First of all, I am afraid that you got a misunderstanding. Please be advised the "2-5 business days" is for [Expedited Express], the fastest shipping method on our website. However, the shipping method you chose for this order was another one [Expedited Postal], the secondary shipping method on our website. This is why the normal shipping time of your order become "8 - 15 Business days delivery (12-21 calendar days)". We appreciate your understanding.

After checking, it shows your package is still on the way to your address. I can fully understand your concern. In order to help you, I had conducted new Ticket ID =23328613 in our ticket center to follow up your case and will provide solutions for any problem incurred. Please log in your light in the box account--go " personal center"--"my ticket" to check our reply. Thank you for your cooperation.

So I ordered a few items a couple weeks ago from three different shops on Ali Express. One item showed sent the next day, the next item show two days later and the third showed sent almost five days later, just before the timer expired and the order cancelled. But I'm getting the picture that 'sent' does not mean sent, or even processed, it only means they generated a tracking number and they will send it sometime later. Now two weeks later only one item looks like it might be on its way here. One item just recently updated to 'posting', one item said it was on its way to here but is now back at their sorting facility.
Even if I receive the item(s) I'm not too impressed with the process and I can see through their misleading messages. They are meant to give you the impression that something is happening when they haven't done anything yet. The shops have five days to send the item but get around this by generating a track and trace without actually posting the item. I suspect they only ship every couple of weeks to save money on shipping (they get a discount for shipping more items at a single time rather than fewer items more often.). But this is misleading and unfair for the customer who has already paid for the goods and makes it harder for them to file a claim with their credit card provider.
