Good site, prompt delivery - have a huge selection of stuff that might break on your household appliances. They might not always be the cheapest, but have always found what I needed.

I've won a few things on jingobid! It's similar to swoopo but has fewer auctions and clearly fewer users, so a determined bidder can win.

There will always be lots of people who haven't won in penny auctions, just like in any competition not everyone can be a winner! Sour grapes from the losers:-)

This is pretty addictive, but incredibly competitive. You are bidding against hundreds of users around the world and often they are not even bidding on the same item (or in the same currency)! They've got a huge amount going on at any time though and delivery is prompt.

There's no way round using paypal if you bid on ebay, but their technolgy is crap, the site is slow and incredibly hard to navigate and their customer service seems t be asleep!
