Been using Amazon for almost a decade now. Witness the whole process when they have more and more warehouses and faster delivery. Witness how FBA has come into a dominant power of shipping method and how product selections have wildly expanded in the past.

And then in some sudden points, I realized the price I can get is no longer attractive. I also realized that many of the brands are no longer operating eagerly on Amazon (e.g. Go check for an unlock version of iPhone 12 purple, or a Dyson V15 Detect - see if you can find them)

So now comes to the time to say good bye. I don't want to pay extra for the premium service that I don't need - to me, only the product itself matters, not the way it is delivered. I just want to have the widest selections of products with the chapest possible buying options everywhere for the same products. Now I've turned mostly to some other apps e.g. shein, blidz and a bunch that provide same products with cheaper prices, with wide selections but also have some amount of quality control. Longer delivery? Yes. But cheaper is what matters the most to me.

Used to be a place where I can find little hand made stuff with all new and unique lookings. But now it's simply occupied by the standardized merchandise uploaded by large merchants

Got myself and my friend both a digital watch with a $29 discount each in the last order. Purely crazy.

Crazy prices with unexpected wide product coverage

To start with, I'm the type of guy that focus mostly on value-for-money deals as I myself work in the retail sector and I am more than aware of the super fat margin eaten up by all the middleman. I tend to think that most "brands" are charging extra for the stories they tell, not the products themselves. So I am also a frequent user of coupon and cashback websites/apps/extensions such as topcashback, honey and etc.

And then one day I recieved a link from my friend through Whatsapp saying he is finding another dude to join him for a $0.99 backpack. By looking at the description and images I was like "no way that's even far below the manufacturing cost as that's 100% cotton by the look of the picture, it must be a ripoff", but he's my close friend and I think $0.99 is not costing me a fortune, and so I gave it a try. So I clicked into the link sent to me from my friend, install the app, paid the $0.99, and a bit to my surprise both me and my friend actually received the order complete notice, and the order was shipped 1 day later with tracking number. And unlike most of the cross-border app that takes you ages to wait for a parcel, I actually got this relatively fast, something like 2 weeks or so. And I was so ASTONISHED I even took a picture of the product I received. The quality of the product is absolutely beyond my expectation and even now I could not figure out how these guys manage to provide these products without making a serious loss... But it is so that you'll need to find another new paying user to buy that exact product with you to get this discount, so it'll take some effort. But hey, I am not saying no for that amount of savings.

I also like that I can receive points each day when open the app and I can use them to play some in-app mini games and exchange for some free products as well. And now I am literally addicted.

Overall, through the tens of shopping apps I've used and hundreds of offline shopping places that I have been to, so far I cannot find one place that can beat this app regarding value-for-money. Definitely a must-have.

Tip for consumers:
Take your time to dig, as there are quite a lot of features that you can play with, also the deals are not updated quickly enough (to me), so to find something you may need to come back from time to time and switch between tabs

Products used:
Backpack, protective case for my smartphone, a smartwatch, a drone, and a pair of earphones

Overall you can find some bangs for the buck, and they offer free shipping. But the overall experience can be improved, and their recommendation algo is not working propery to me. Once you click several similar products and the next thing you'll notice is you are flooded with those stuff in the main dash. I just seldom use them now as it seems the there are too many suppliers without careful selections and will go for e.g. shein or blidz or other shopping apps that are either self inventory or have careful selection of suppliers

They offer quite a good amount of product, but most of them are overpriced for the quality and overall delivery time. And in the main dash there are always misleading and even vulgar pictures. That's why I seldom use wish any more and turn to some other apps e.g. shein, blidz and other apps that provide also affordable products (even cheaper for same products) with wide selections but also have at least some amount of quality control
